deep golden color, fluffy white head. not much aroma, but a little pininess.... exceptional bitterness from the hops with a really nice flavor. no juicy in this one, just the regular ole' IPA from years past. but very good!

Appearance: pours a hazy orange color with a 1" head that lasts a while. Thick surface covering most of session.

Smell: citrus and hops come through to the nose.

Taste: bready malt profile with loads of mango, orange, lemon zest, and pineapple. Floral and a mild earthy hop presence is well balanced.

Mouthfeel: medium bodied beer. Crisp to start, less crisp and a touch dry late.

Overall: this is a real flavorful and easy to drink DIPA. Alcohol is not noticeable at all here.

Poured into a teku pint. Bottom of can says 05/27/16.

A- Pours a very hazy medium amber color with a 3/4 inch off-white head that retains well before becoming a thick ring around the edge of the glass and a full sheet of surface foam. Sticky resilient lacing.

S- Big blast of tropical fruit including mango, papaya and peach with a sweet cereal grain malt backing.

T- The fruitiness of the hops and sweetness of the malt commingle beautifully to make a balanced flavor profile that's so tasty and easy to drink. The bitterness starts to creep in adding extra character to an already delicious mix.

M- Somewhat sharp and oily from the hops with medium carbonation and a body leaning toward the fuller side.

O- This is the way I like my DIPAs: with just as much juicy hop character as there is sweet malt and a moderate-to-high bitterness to keep things interesting. Magnificent.

What a hop bomb. It pours with a thick foam and a nice haze. Nose is virtually absent (I had a 4oz pour at brewery and when I got home poured me a pint both without any noticeable aroma). But the taste and feel are spot on. Wow. Great job once again NSB!
