Dark amber color, clear. Small head with longterm rim bubbles remaining after a few minutes. A couple of larger spots on the tulip glass.
Raw and weedy hop dominates with a deeply toasted malt as a base.
Tastes like a highly bittered amber ale. The aforementioned toasted base is present and dry. The hop is strong and neutrally bitter. Long aftertaste. Predictable body with an elevated carbonation level. Overall, a good, hop-lovers amber.

Canned 1/8/18 at 4.3% abv.
Moderate to vigorous pour yields a one and a quarter inch white head over a bright amber body with some sticky lacing. Nose of toast, malt, and slight hops. Taste of hops, malt, and toast. Well carbed for a nice feel and overall, a refreshingly good lager that could be described as an amber dunkel with extra hops?
Cheers to those Everett guys!

Appearance: Arrives clear and amber colored with a frothy head that delivers some nice lacing
Smell: Toasted bread, caramel and herbal tones with a hint of citrus
Taste: Toasted bread forward with caramel building underneath; herbal and citrus tones arrive, through the middle with a touch of spice cake in the finish
Mouthfeel: Light to medium body with moderate to high carbonation
Overall: An unusual style, perhaps a bit Americanized; really tasty

White head with lace. Golden orange color.
Awesome aroma. Definitely to style. Smells and taste like brewday. Cereal grains and toasted malts. Honey sweetness. Awesome pils flavors all around. Bready.
Light bodied. Full on flavor. Excellent offering.

Nice to see a Zwicklbier like beer on any portfolio. The taste is a little different than what I had in Germany. For the most part it's a great tasting beer but in the end you taste this hop-grain combo that's a little off. Maybe they over hopped it a tad for the style. In any case it's always good to see American breweries making traditional European styles. Despite the departure from your standard Zwickelbier characteristics I would buy this again.

Absolutely blown away. This is exactly how I expect beer to taste once I make a trip to Germany. Such an on-point example of a Zwickelbier, down to the slight haze and massive frothy head. But it has a super fruity and bready finish that makes it uniquely American. Lately I've been on a search for authentic European styles with an American twist from local breweries around Massachusetts and I am not being disappointed. Jack's Abby, Exhibit A, and now Night Shift. So glad the brewery forced me to buy a 4-pack rather than a single can as I usually do!
