Flanders-style sour ale. Brewer's notes: pours red orange with a tan head; aromas of strawberry, lemon pith, and cranberry; sips with tannic notes of peach marmalade, tart cherry, and vanilla; smooth, soft body mellows the ABV warmth.

Pours mahogany red-brown with an off-white foam head. Smells like lemon, cranberry, vanilla, herbs and caramel malt. Tastes like grainy caramel malts, light vanilla, cranberry, peach pit, sour cherry, lemon, with herbal earthy hops. Feels medium plus bodied, creamy smooth with moderate high carbonation. Overall a nice Flanders red ale.

Pours a mostly clear deep ruby/orange color with a finger of off-white head. The head is gone quickly and leaves minimal lacing.
The aroma brings notes of tart lemon, cranberry, and vanilla, finished off by a slight metallic note.
The taste follows the nose. Cranberry and lemon zest, followed by a wave of vanilla. Like the nose, there's a hint of iron on the back end that is subtle but clearly noticeable. The aftertaste is definitely metallic.
The feel is medium-full bodied with moderate carbonation. Very, very dry and a bit sticky.
Overall, a very disappointing beer. I'm not sure if this bottle is infected but there is definitely a strong metallic taste on the finish that lingers for far too long. The other flavors are decent but a bit muddled. Not worth the effort.

Didn't think this one was a good representation of the Flanders style, but had some good characteristics. More of a red sour than a Flanders sour, but the cranberry notes came through nicely.
