Poured into DFH IPA glass

L-Hazy, juicy, golden, big, thick white head that lasts for days

S-Tropical, dank, citrus hops........passionfruit, grapefruit, resinous, orange,

T-Follows the nose......tropical, dank, and resinous.......fruit comes across at first followed by a rush of piney goodness which is present throughout the finish.......heavily hopped......fairly bitter finish

F-creamy, medium bodied...mild carbonation

O-another good offering from Night Shift

The first pour is a clear, bright orange copper in color with a finger of dense white head with good retention. The second pour is a much hazier orange. Aroma is muted with only a bit of pine. Taste is generically tropical fruits upfront with pine in the finish. My second pour increases the intensity of the tropical flavors while simultaneously decreasing the pine. Good mouthfeel, medium body and carbonation. Overall a solid beer. At first I didn't love the tropical fruit notes, they came across with a bit of an artificial note that turned me off a bit but my second pour was a far more enjoyable experience. If I had a second can then I would be sure to agitate a bit more before the first pour to get more of those hop particulates back into suspension.

Golden, light amber orange in color. Somewhat hazy. Orange, papaya, tangerine and lime. Zesty. Fruity. Balanced. Short finish. Nice level of bitterness. Somewhat dry. This is yummy.

pours a clear orange/brown, typical Night Shift foamy head with gorgeous lacing. smell is piney and citrusy, doesnt seem very tropical on the nose. taste is more muted than smell, but i get pine and peaches at first, then a big sweet doughy malt that I think actually took away from the taste. feel was good, but I felt it could have been fuzzier being as slick as it was. I was not very impressed by this overall, good DIPA but not the caliber that they usually put out.
