750ml bottle

Pours pitch black with a dense creamy light tan khaki colored foam head that stays in tact. Smells like floral dark honey, toasted cereal grains, dark dried fruits, caramel, dark chocolate, toffee, char, coffee, with earthy herbal grassy pine. Tastes like floral dark honey, toasted grains, dried fruit, caramel, dark chocolate, char, coffee, toffee, with earthy herbal grassy pine. Feels medium bodied, thick, creamy smooth with moderate low carbonation. Overall a really nice imperial stout with honey.

pours dark with a foamy head
smell is roasty, chocolate and honey
mouth feel is full with moderate carbonation,
taste is slightly sweet, chocolate and some sort of roasted or burnt smoky flavor
a little booze at the end, overall a nice stout very drinkable. I'd like to see this one again

Big creamy dark fluffy head fades slowly, great lacing, pitch black

Nose dark toasty malt, chocolate, milk chocolate, dried lactose, caramel, burnt condensed milk, hint brown sugar and baking spice

Taste some honey, ester notes, little phenol spice with booze, dark roasty malts, cocoa powder, caramel, hint baking spice, dried lactose, little dark fruit fig, little sticky sweet condensed milk, rich fudge, intense dark chocolate

Mouth is med to fuller, rich creamy thick, frothy carb, touch booze

Bottle pour at the brewery.

Pours a very dark brown with fluffy foam.

Smell is sweet and syrupy with some chocolate and raisins.

Sweet kick up front, honey and syrup. Some roasted chocolate notes come in, and ends with a bit of warming booze.

Thick and creamy mouthfeel, just the way an Impy should be.

This was nice, very sweet, so more than 8 oz would have been a challenge. Very well rounded, and great mouthfeel.

Nutty and roasty aroma. Taste follows but there's a ton of alcohol warmth. Some chocolate. Some coffee. Honey seems to be an afterthought.

Has a bit more carbonation than expected.

Good beer, but nothing special. Tough to finish this one.

Black as night. Lots of roasted malt bitterness. Medium bodied. Smooth. No alcohol presence. Pretty balanced, not over sweet. Good, straight forward stout.
