From a 16oz can. Pours an inky black-brown with a long-lasting tan head. Chocolate, coffee, roasted malt on the nose and palate. A very nice milk stout for sure..

Moderate pour yields one inch tan head over a dark brown body with some fleeting lacing. Nose of roasted malts, dark roasted coffee, and bitter chocolate. Taste of coffee, milk chocolate, dark chocolate, bitter chocolate, and malted milk. Finish is all chocolate. Nice velvety feel, and overall, another fine offering from the boys of Everett.

Pours a dark brown color with a half-finger of tan head. The head settles into a thin film, leaving very minimal lacing.

Night Shift knows how to make a stout smell like chocolate sex. Baker's chocolate, chocolate milk, and some light roastiness, followed by some very subtle coffee and dark malts. It's everything you expect from the style turned up to 11.

The flavor is incredibly sweet, almost cloying, but it works here. It's basically waves of sweet chocolate with some light roastiness on the finish. Simple, yet very tasty.

The feel is light bodied with moderate carbonation. It's light but creamy and very smooth, with a dry, roasty finish.

Overall, a very good milk stout that smells delectable and tastes delicious. It's decadent but highly drinkable.

On-tap at the brewery. This is a proper chocolate milk stout. Wow. Plenty of roasted malt, chocolate, charred wood, and that strange chalky lactose thing that exists in all beers of this style. But the finish is better than most, which makes this a winner. Sweet, chocolaty finish with the right feel and carbonation. Though it gets cloying as many milk stouts do, I'm digging this, as I expected I would.
