Hazy to cloudy with a pale gold, almost straw color. Modest head which leaves a thick ring of initial lace. A few streaks thereafter.
Malty, with a light crispness to the nose.
Hoppier and less "creamy" than most cream ales. Highly carbonated with a thin body. Slightly sour malt base. Strong, bitter finish and long aftertaste.

A: Pours the palest, lightest, cloudiest orange you've ever seen. It almost looks pure white on the initial pour. Tall frothy white head, excellent retention and powdery chunks of lacing everywhere.
S: Grapefruit mainly, a touch flowery. Simple malt, can't quite place it, I was thinking corn but...do they use corn in cream ales? Hmph.
T: Yup, a nice crisp bitter grapefruit up front. Flowery in the middle and finish. Again with that simple malt, I think it IS corn. Kinda crackery. Wave of bitterness in the finish leading to a nice dry and crisp aftertaste of grapefruit. Just a hint of that flowery hop flavor still lingering in there.
M: Light, dry, bitter, crisp.
O: Nice hoppy cream ale. Similar to a session IPA or something like that, just with almost no malt flavor at all.

L - Straw yellow with transparent body and three fingers of white head.
S - Subtle corn sweetness with a kick of lemon zest
T - Sweet cornbread with lemon and some orange. Amarillo shines more on the taste than the aroma and adds hoppy flavors.
F - Smooth, creamy, and light. Might be a little undercarbonated.
O - Solid cream ale base with the lemon zest adding drinkability.

16 oz. Can 4 pack. Canned on 7/30/17 opened on 8/19/17
A clear, white golden color, light straw, very active with a very nice, thick, creamy white foam cover. Excellent sustainability in its freshness. The creamy foam keeps a constant layer of coverage and lots of lace.
A light, lemmon and slightly fruity hop and then malty aroma upfront, sweet corn and grains, slightly earthy and a tinge creamy. The light, earthy and grainy scented malt and Amarillo, fruity but earthy tones go together very well.
The malt crispness is impressive with light grains, golden wheat and sweet corn that pop right out. The malt then becomes a bit smooth and creamy, in both flavor effect wnd and mouthfeel. A crisp, light body becomes very silky...one of my favorite aspects of American Cream Ale's. (a highly underrated style). Finally , a brewery is brave enough to step away from big IPA's and Saisons and experiment with a style that deserves to be brewed right. This one has all the goods, perfect body and mouthfeel with just the right "cream" feel and flavor. The light malt allows the Amarillo hops to pop, but not in a bold way, they remain deep and flavorful but also do not dominate the malt flavors into submission.
Very true to the style with the big "wow" factor coming from the dry hopped Amarillo flavors. The malt is light bodied but loaded with flavor and then the silky smooth finish to the mouthfeel just puts it on another level for the style. Easy and crushable, but highly enjoyable tge entirevway through!
