Picked-up a four-pack of cans at Kappy's in Norwell for about twelve dollars. Big fan of Night Shift, have never heard of this brew before. A bit above my ABV comfort zone, but a very nice brew, would buy again.

Poured from can into tulip glass.

Pours a hazy yellow with a slight head that leaves great lacing.

Candied fruits, Mandarin oranges, and lemons are pronounced in aromas.

Off the bat you get sweet citrus flavors, some pine and resin sandwiched in the middle, and topped off with a bit of sweet malts. More down the glass there is more bitterness and depth of flavor. The hoppiness begins to hang out after you've told it to leave and gives you more bite. The candied fruits start to hang out with the citrus and get happier.

There is a decent bit of carbonation. The body is lighter than what you expect and is more on the watery side.

It's reminiscent of the Pfafenheck that they make with the honey sweetness but taken to another dimension since it's a double IPA. Another great beer from the owls in Everett.

Canned on 2/5/18; drank just 3 days later in a tulip; tasting very fresh, almost could chill in the fridge for a few more days to round out a bit more

Beautiful cloudy golden color. Nice sweet citrus nose. Taste follows nose with nice bitterness at end. Another great beer from Night Shift.

Canned 1/29/18, good black and gold beer for the Bs game

Pours a large fluffy foamy 1+ finger head that fades at a slow pace, seems to stick around for a while, sitcky lacing, murky honey orange color

Nose nice citrus and fruit, flowery floral honey and a little sweet candy notes, creamy malt, clementine, a little apricot and creamy wheat

Taste brings a little honey and fermented honey with mild ester notes I think, but earthy floral notes, creamy toasty wheat and malt, some sweetness both malt and honey, floral honey, nice hops citrus, a little stone fruit apricot jam, clementine, mild tropical like note, lupilin spicy raw hop bitterness character, fair bitterness, drier finish with a hint of possibly alcohol but big bitter hop bite

Mouth is med bod, creamy soft, fluffy carb, a touch of alcohol

Overall pretty nice, honey is there in a nice character both raw honey and fermented honey, decent hops although lupulin starts OK then gets a little raw hop almost spicy like character

Dank, passion fruit, fresh cut grass, grapefruit pith, melon and tangerine. Biscuit malt. Medium bodied. Creamy feel. Citrus bitter bite on the finish. Not too sweet, semi dry. Real good.
