Pours black with no head.
Smells of coffee. Tastes of coffee and then some chocolate. Sweet but not overly so.
Medium body and light carbonation. Less syrupy than most similar beers.
This is a very pleasant, relatively simple sipping beer. Think of it as a little brother to NS's Dynasty.

Canned 2/12/20, poured 3/28/20 into a tulip glass. black with very thin brown head and minimal lacing
On the nose, bitter dark chocolate, dank and earthy
Taste is bitter chocolate, with coffee overtones
Feel is smooth and nicely carbonated
If you like chocolate and coffee, you will love this one. It is a very fine sipping ale, especially good in winter or early spring and it can be drank right after that noon cup of coffee !

Pours a dark black with touches of brown.
Smells of sweet dark malt and vanilla.
Dark chocolate, creamy roasted malt, medium carbonation, light coffee finish.
Medium carbonation, higher than I expected.
All in all, this is a great beer for a cold day.

Poured into a 16 oz Snulip canned on 2/12/2020. Pours a slick midnight black with a finger sticky light mocha head that leaves thin wisps of lace, with solid retention. 4.25
Smell is cocoa nibs, roasty coffee beans, vanilla, toffee, and hints of biscuit. 4.25
Taste follows cocoa, coffee, vanilla, toffee, and a little caramel in the balanced finish. 4.25
Mouthfeel is a big creamy medium, gentle carbonation, not really dry for the style, and at 8% really easy drinking. 4.25
Overall this is a really balanced and tasty stout that will warm you up on a chilly evening. 4.25

A: Pours a near pitch black color with 2 fingers of head that fades down to a thin cap
S: Roasted malt, coffee, dark and milk chocolate, and light caramel. Maybe a hint of vanilla as well
T: Follows the nose. Starts off with the roasted malt, coffee, and dark chocolate with a moderate bitterness. Goes into the caramel and sweeter chocolate before picking up some nutty notes and light char. Finishes with lingering light bitterness, dark chocolate, and coffee
M: Medium-full bodied with moderate carbonation. On the smoother side
O: A solid stout that highlights both the coffee and chocolate. Quite easy to drink. Worth checking out
