Cloudy with little to no head. There are some small spots left on the empty glass.

Relatively mild smell for the style. Like the others in the Fluffy series, this one is weedy as well.

The booze is well hidden from the taste while the hop is very strong. The body is a bit oily and the carbonation is low. The finish the like black pepper and I do get a touch of alcohol in the swallow.

L:. Pours a very hazy dark orangish color with a medium sized foamy head and thick sheets of lacing around the glass.

S:. Sugary mixes with lots of tropical fruit including some mango and pineapple, some lemon and pineapple, smells quite juicy, a light floral hop underneath and a touch of tree sap.

T:. Grapefruit, lemon and orange mix with a lot of other tropical fruit and a lightly bitter floral hop and a strong sugary sweetness. Fairly sweet.

F:. Smooth larger body.

O:. This is a nice beer but as with a lot of hazy IPAs I do find it a little sweet.

Pours an opaque reddish orange with a small head and lacing.

A just opened can smells of floral hops. Once in the glass, dank hops and tart citrus aromas come out.

Tastes of grapefruit and orange with some pineapple sweetness. There is a small amount of hop bitterness. The alcohol hides well.

Medium body and light carbonation. Slightly syrupy mouthfeel.

This is is a dangerously drinkable citrus forward NEIPA.

Canned 3/4/21

And now time for the final evolution in Night Shift’s Fluff series, we have Fluffiest, what they’re branding as a triple NEIPA, clocking in at 9.5%. I quite enjoyed the Fluffier I had last night, but wasn’t the biggest fan of Fluffinity that I had last year some time. Let’s see how this one stacks up

Pours a hazy burnt gold with 3 fingers of soapy white head that slowly fades to a cap and leaves nice lacing

This is pretty dank in the nose, but remains tropical and creamy as well. I’m picking up on aromas of fresh weed, juicy cantaloupe, doughy malt, orange rind, and an odd note of raw pumpkin meat?? Weird, but it kinda works

Is it weird that I’m disappointed it lost that strange pumpkin note? Anyhow, it’s pretty similar in taste. On the front end of the sip I’m tasting grassy hops, cantaloupe, and fresh orange. The swallow bitters up a bit with notes of pithy grapefruit, weedy hops, pine, and chewy malt

A medium full body pairs with very mild carbonation, resulting in a rich tropical beet, drinking well under its listed abv. Finishes dry and smooth with just a hint of alcohol presence

I’m definitely comfortable in saying this beer is the best in the series. Don’t sleep on Night Shift BA

Poured from a 16 oz can into a tulip glass.

Pours an opaque golden orange color with a finger of creamy white head. The head leaves a beautiful crown of lacing around the top of the glass as it settles into a thin sheet of foam.

Similar to Fluffier, the aroma is a bit faint. There are notes of orange cream, grapefruit, pineapple, and peach as well as some doughy malt and spicy hops on the back end.

The flavor though. The flavor brings a buttload of citrus up front: Grapefruit, orange, and lemon-lime, followed by some mango, pineapple and sugary peach rings. The finish is slightly vegetal and earthy, with notes of green peppers and pine.

The feel is medium-full bodied with soft carbonation. Exceptionally creamy and smooth. The alcohol is extremely well-hidden.

Overall, a great DIPA that is hoppy as hell yet remains well-balanced and surprisingly drinkable. This is a completely different beer from Fluffy and Fluffier, yet it retains the best elements of each to form a truly great imperial IPA.
