A - Golden orange color that is mostly clear. Thin white head that dissipates.

S - Yeast-driven aromas are highlighted. Banana, cantaloupe, tart apple and mixed peppercorns abound.

T - Apple juice and peppercorns upfront, but the esters soon turn into bubblegum. The pilsner-like malt and malt sweetness come though. The vanilla beans are more apparent in the flavor but come off as a bit oily.

M - Medium bodied with low carbonation.

O - This beer has a lot of potential, though a couple of changes would help immensely. The vanilla beans only add an unenjoyable oiliness, and the mix of yeast strains seems to muddle the flavor and create strange esters. Otherwise, this is a delightful Belgian ale with a nice fruity nose and a tart malty flavor.

A - similar to a Marzen. Deep, deep amber. Nice big fluffy off white had that fades to 1/4 inch. Lots of lacing.
S - oh, so nice. Banana, orange citrus, vanilla, maybe a little cinnamon? Very appealing, and orange leads. Exceptional, impossible to smell without wanting to drink.

T - more peppery than the nose suggested. I don't think anyone would call this a hop forward beer. I really hope the hophead can see past that to recognize how damn tasty it is. So well balanced. I am a NE Revolution ticketholder and i wish I could find this at Gillette alongside the Bud, Sam, and Goose Island IPA. I'd pick this every time. Exttemely drinkable. Definitely have to get more. I guess it could be a little hoppier, but overall it's still so good. I do have to say that there is the possibility the vanilla could become cloying as a session beers. I may be talking myself out of this beer the more I drink, lol. Tone down the vanilla and add the slightest touch more hops and it's a 5.
Disclaimer: I may or may not be drunk while reviewing this.

Poured into a tulip, the beer was gold in color. There was a thick, fluffy white head which lingered. The head was very sticky.

Spicy, banana aroma. Kind of fresh.

Some banana in the taste. Sweet and spicy. Earthy.

Dry, crisp. A pleasant beer.

Would likely drink this again.

Taste is banana, vanilla, yogurt, and Belgian spices. The vanilla is soft but but adds a new wrinkle to this style that compliments it well. This is a one glass per sitting beer and one I would get if I wanted this style which I rarely seek out.

Poured from the tap at the brewery on September 8th, 2012.

A very deep red/orange colour and an eggshell foamy head. The smell of sweet citrus, bananas, melon, and subtle vanilla. The taste had a nice spice to it with the citrus flavours, hops, and vanilla coming through in an extremely balanced taste. An amazing balanced between the three kind of hops and the vanilla beans.

Would I buy it again? Absolutely.

Dark, caramel-colored brew, relatively clear. Little head to speak of.

Huge, enormous Hefe-like banana notes in the aroma.

Banana flavor from the yeast actually translates to the flavor, along with caramel and brown sugar. There isn't really much else going on there, however.

Slight amount of alcohol burn, probably too much for a 7% ABV brew.

This beer was just slightly better than "OK" for me. It's not something I'd go out of my way to buy, but I wouldn't turn it down if offered.

On tap at the brewery. Served in a snifter. Orange body. Big white head. Smells a little hoppy with some Belgian yeast. Lots of vanilla. Tastes malty. Sharp Belgian yeast that’s almost overpowering, but vanilla takes over and overwhelms the finish. Medium body. Interesting variation. I think I couldn’t drink a lot of this, but in small doses it’s ok.
