Ever Weisse is a mixed fermentation sour ale aged with kiwis, strawberries, and hibiscus. With fresh, bright notes of kiwi, strawberry, and hibiscus, it’s hard to imagine yourself anywhere else but in the sunshine while sipping on Ever Weisse.

Canned 6/8/20

This is one of the highest rated beers in the series and I’ve heard great things, so I’m very excited about this one

Pours completely clear red/orange with just a few bubbles that quickly fades to nothing. Looks like jello oddly enough

Odd, I’m picking up notes that are more characteristic of a gose than a weisse in the aroma. I could almost swear there’s coriander present, but it could be the hibiscus. Decent salinity as well with underripe tart kiwi and fresh soft strawberries

The taste is an absolute onslaught of fruit in the best way possible. Starting with a sweet and juicy strawberry base, the kiwi starts to come in with a tingle in addition to lemon and even a bit of pineapple. The clean tang settles to a crisp wheat doused in fruit juice

Light to medium bodied with almost no carbonation, this drinks super easy. Despite the fact that it finishes quite sticky, it’s about as refreshing as a cold cocktail on a hot summer day

For what it is, it’s great. This isn’t anything overly complex or some pretentious bullshit, just a damn solid fruited weisse that is super light and refreshing. Night Shift are truly elite

It takes an upside down 16-oz. can, half way in my 20-oz. mug to reach a finger of white creamy foam which quickly becomes soapy and then fades away. Very hazy (I can almost read large print through it) orange-straw color, unique and kinda pretty.

Mild smell which features the strawberry and kiwi mentioned on the can, there is a mild spicy smell that I guess is the hibiscus. The malt smell is faint and suggests sweetness, some cracker and yeasty bread. There are also indications that the taste could be tart and sour, these are proven true.

Tangy, sour, a creeping spicy bitterness, and sweetness compliment each other as they blend into something that is greater then the sum of their individual parts. The malt is in the background yet contributes with the wheat-y tang.
I do not detect kiwi in the taste (or the color), the strawberries win. The finish is quick but is by no means clean, this is not a bad thing. Tang, sour and the bitterness linger for a long while.

Light bodied per style, a swish will bring back a very short lived head throughout the drink. An average pour will yield a very skinny head, frothy and short lived. The carbonation lasts even with an aggressive pour. Session-able, alcohol is well hidden. So well balanced that the sour, tang, bitter and sweet meld into a smooth, enjoyable delight.
I'm givin this one an "A".

A: The beer is hazy yellow in color and has a light reddish glow. It poured with a short white head that quickly settled down, leaving just a narrow collar around the edge of the glass.
S: Moderate to strong aromas of kiwis and hibiscus are present in the nose - strawberries also become perceptible as the beer warms up.
T: The taste follows the smell and has flavors of kiwis and strawberries with a light amount of sourness.
M: It feels light-bodied and slightly tart on the palate with a moderate amount of carbonation.
O: This beer does a very good job at showcasing the aromas and flavors of kiwi and strawberry.

Great, refreshing , easy drinking sour beer. Good choice for beginners looking to ease their way into sours because it is not overly sour or dank. The fact that it is a wheat ale that is kettle aged rather than barrel aged keeps it light. Great summer beer.

Pink color liquid. Cloudy. Little head and nearly no lace.

Stinky, sour aroma. Very much like a fresh grapefruit.

Very tart start. There's a touch of sweetness but it remains closest to the flavor of a fresh grapefruit.
