Thanks to Wowcoolman for sharing this one at Retsinis' tasting.

Batch # 2. Bottled on 1/20/14.

Pours a murky light red with a foamy white head that settles to a partial film on top of the beer. Small dots of lace form around the glass on the drink down. Smell is slightly sour with malt, grain, cranberry, and acidic aromas. Taste is much the same with slightly sour grain and cranberry flavors on the finish. There is a mild amount of acidity on the palate with each sip. This beer has a lower level of carbonation with a slightly crisp mouthfeel. Overall, this is a pretty good beer with a solid slightly sour cranberry aspect in the aroma and flavor.

Appearance: Arrives a cloudy mauve color with a thin cap that leaves a strand or two

Smell: Cranberry punch with a hint of orange

Taste: Cranberry and orange punch with a lactic edge; the sourness builds modestly through the middle with a touch of vanilla sweetness on the tip of the tongue

Mouthfeel: Light to medium body with moderate carbonation

Overall: A decent Berliner that would benefit from a bit more funk; it appears the low ratings here are the result of an infected release a few years ago

Light fizzy fluffy head, super bright rosy color

Nose little candy tart fruit, candy syrupy, maybe cranberry, cough syrup, Berliner like bread dough

Taste tart syrupy notes, big Berliner bready yeast, minerality, almost but not quite sulfur, big creamy wheat, toasted, little tart cranberry, sour cranberry late.

Mouth is med to lighter bod, creamy, fluffy carb, tart little flemmy acidity

Overall not bad, cranberry is a little on taste no aroma, little minerality almost sulfur note

750 mL bottle poured into a snifter. Bright clear red body with a nice white head. Thin collar. Smells remarkably bad. Butterscotch really doesn't blend well with the rest of the aroma. Light berry and acidity for as long as I can keep my nose in it. The butterscotch doesn't come through quite as horribly in the taste, but it's still there. Sour cranberry. Butterscotch. Light body. Well carbonated. Pretty darned gross.

Pours a clear reddish wood color, like an herbal tea or something, has a thin head to start with and it fades to just the rim pretty quickly.

Smells of tart fruit, some kind of berry, hints of citrus too, something acidic like orange juice maybe. Mild vinegar note too.

Pretty damn tart up front, some lightly sweet vinegary flavor buried under there, good amount of dry berry fruit character that is now more recognizable as cranberry, oranges noticeable too, the fruit doesn't exactly jump our but it's definitely the dominant flavor. Puckering sour.

Carbonation is too low and sourness too high for this to be as refreshing as a berlinerweiss should be, but if you think of it more as a still cranberry lambic it's not so bad. :)
