Looks like a Budweiser. Tastes like a Budweiser. Does not need to be in the top beers of Tennessee list. If you want a cheap tailgate beer, go with Budweiser.

Rather drink a pabst blue ribbon that had been sitting in the bed of the truck on a summer day .

This is not in any way a good beer, very offputting flavor.

I loved this Lager. This is what Big River Lager should've tasted like. I am a fan!

I really like this beer; after a hard day of fieldwork in the Tennessee River Valley, there is nothing quite as delicious and refreshing as one popping one of these open at the hotel before I hit the shower. It is not very complex, which on occasion is precisely what I'm seeking, and has a good, straightforward lager-taste.

Bottle pour, small head. Aroma and taste are classic Vienna lager. They did a nice job with this beer. It has a really good taste and is worth trying if you get the chance.

Hap & Harry's Tennessee Lager
on tap @ Edley's BBQ, Nashville, TN - 4 April 2015
$4 / pint

The label and the story behind Hap & Harry's are probably the most interesting things about it. Not that it's bad, it's OK, but it's just an average amber ale. The malt is lightly toasty, and there's some very mild hop flavor to it as well, but other than that there's really nothing going on. If you like Yuengling Traditional Lager you'd probably like this although it's not as sweet. I would, however, like to try the Hap & Harry's Lynchburg Tennessee Lager which is supposed to have a little more maltiness to it.
