Pours a deep copper color with a white head lots of clarity. Smell is of malt, caramel not a lot of hops on the nose. Taste is sweet caramel malt backbone with some hop bitterness on the finish. Goes down easy would like to try fresh on tap at their brewery.

L - Dark copper orange with a finger of white head

S - Stale toffee and green beans

T - Metallic vegetable juice reminiscent of expired V8.

F - No alcohol and a decent body. Some cloying metal and veggies.

O - No real hops, just some bad veggies. Hard to put down. Close to a drainpour, but you can muscle through it as it just passes for barely tolerable.

On tap at the BB&T center. The next best option was Molson, so dropping 14 bucks on 24 ounces of an unknown beer seemed somewhat reasonable.

Pours okay. Smells like a solid hop profile and sour, under-cultured yeast.

Tastes like bad homebrew. The yeast is simply rotten, and it spoils the whole rest of the beer. Rough, unbalanced, and more bad nodes than good.

Nothing much more to say other than this beer should not have been released to the public. I slugged it down because I paid so much for it, but a can would have been a drain pour.

12oz can poured into a snifter. Miami Brewing Vice IPA is a fruitier IPA and pretty and more on the balanced side between the malt and hops. Overall, an enjoyable IPA that I would purchase again.

12 oz. can poured into a wine glass.

Appearance - Deep orange body. Big off-white head. Thick collar.

Smell - Kind of a floral hoppiness. Caramel. Lightly toasty malt.

Taste - Citrus. Toasty malt. Sweet fruity malts. Moderate bitterness.

Mouthfeel - Medium body. Well carbonated.

Overall - Eh. Not a lot interesting going on.

Coolest can I have seen with the Miami Vice type theme. Actually found in Wal-Mart of all places, let's give it a whirl. Popping the top of the can I get wafts of butterscotch and noble (bizarre for an IPA) hops. On the pour I get a guinees type foamy head on top of a cloudy brown. Head stands throughout the taste which yields a syrupy mouth feel off the bat. Taste then proceeds to a balanced heavy IPA with a very dull bitter hoppiness and a sweet and tangy background maltiness. Not complex but a good example of the style. Comes in cans which is a plus around the pool. Sneaky ABV at 7.1% Not outstanding by any means but nice to have a local staple.

Persistent brownish head. Piney sweet aroma. Full body a little on the sweet malty side for an ipa. Enjoyable and surprisingly not hot for a 7%. Not a great example of the style but a nice take on it all the same.
