On tap at Tony's Darts Away in Burbank, CA.
Pours a clear dark orange-brown with a foamy khaki head that settles to a partial film on top of the beer. Foamy swaths of lace form around the glass on the drink down. Smell is of malt, earth, dark fruit, spice, and yeast aromas. Taste is much the same with toast, earth, dark fruit, and spice flavors on the finish. There is a mild amount of spice bitterness on the palate with each sip. This beer has a lower level of carbonation with a slightly crisp and medium bodied mouthfeel. Overall, this is a pretty good beer with solid aromas and flavors for an American take on the style.
Serving type: on tap.

2022 can poured at fridge temp. Pours a dark brown/reddish with a lot of fluffy off-white head. Good retention.
Nose is cola, blueberries, Belgian yeast, apricot jam, and granny smith apples. Really interesting on the nose.
The taste is super smooth. Toffee, malts, yeast, bread, brown sugar, red grapes, and a candy sweetness. Really interesting.
Mouthfeel is medium bodied. Aftertaste is sweet caramel.

Poured a dark Ruby-brown with a khaki head. Aromas and flavors of earthy hops, figs, prunes, brown sugar. Fairly creamy and a medium body. Good take on the style for an American brewer.

Quite the pleasant surprise. Hits all the marks for a dubble, yeast is well-contained but offers some floral notes to complement the expected prune and figs. What really stands out here is a sweet, nutty flavor that doesn't consume the flavor but offers some distinction. The feel is good, but a touch carbonated for me where I want more creamy feel.
Overall, very damn nice.
