16oz can from Function PDX. Hazy yellow pour with a small cap of white foamy head. Fruity, hoppy aroma, mild sweteness. Taste is a nice blend of tropical and citrus fruit flavors with a grassy hoppiness. Creamy feel.

16oz can from Monkish. Poured out a cloudy, golden orange color with a small, off-white head of foam. It left sudsy trails of lace on the glass. It smelled of grapefruit, orange, pineapple, guava and toasted caramel. Sweet tropical fruit taste with toasted caramel and a piney bitterness.

6 weeks old. Can to wine glass.
L: Pours a full and hazy, almost milky yellow with a foamy white head that dissipates quickly leaving just a bit of lacing. No floaters visible.
S: Very citrusy with strong notes of orange and lemon.
T: Again mainly fresh orange and lemon. Hints of fresh mango and grapefruit are also there. Medium sweet and slightly bitter. Intense hop burn.
F: Full and creamy. Medium carbonation. Sharp and tingling.
O: Best Monkish IPA I‘ve had so far. So flavorful, so creamy. Not hugely complex, but everything in this beer is just really intense. Already looking forward to Socrates' Philosophies and Hypotheses (which is waiting in the fridge right now) and how it compares to it.

Sweet tropical hoppy, orange-tangerine citrus, and an earthy/grassy dank nose on this one! Taste follows with a well-balanced, orange citrus and earthy hoppy bitter finish...as it warms, the earthiness comes out a bit more, but not overpowering. This is really good stuff!
