Sweet pineapple and stonefruit, tropical hoppy, and hint of fruity dank nose on this one! Taste follows with a sweet pineapple, slightly earthy, slightly dry, and hoppy bitter bite. As it warms, the dry-earthiness and some grapefruit citrus bitter booziness comes out. This is so soft and juicy on the palate. Outstanding!

Hazed out peach juice in a glass. Aromas of orange sherbet, mango, cotton candy, booze, vanilla, and pineapple. Taste follows with a touch of grapefruit, and herbaceous notes. The finish is soft, creamy, and carbonated to near perfection. This beer is as BIG as its namesake, in both flavor & alcohol content. That said, it's delicious and well worth the price of admission.

Sample at Mikkeller Beer Celebration Copenhagen 2018, Green Session. Hazy golden color. Aroma has sweet vanilla malt and tropical juicy fruits. Taste has soft fruity hops, melon, mango and a bittersweet hoppy finish.

Canned 04/11/18 ‘SMALLS’.

A deep-hued rusty orange pour, again like Mango juice. Heavy lace leaves its mark all around the glass.

The nose on this is so dank and boozy, but at the same time a clear tropical presence comes through, dominated by mango, citrus, pineapple and malt. There's no mistaking this for anything other than a TIPA.

The flavors are more of the same, characterized by big boozy notes and tropical fruit. Mango, pineapple and citrus all come through, and it finishes with a full bodied stickiness and a low, almost seltzery carbonation. Biggie, Biggie, Biggie, can't you see? Sometimes your beers just hypnotize me.

A: Opaque light orange with a frothy white head. Like a straight up Orange Julius!!!

A: Orange whip, vanilla, grapefruit, pineapple, mango, and a touch of pine at the end.

T: Followed the aroma almost perfectly. A touch more pine than expected, in a good way. Absolutely sublime.

F: Like a frothy creamsicle! So smooth, decadent, creamy, medium to full bodied, good amount of bitterness but not overwhelming. The best part of this beer in my opinion.

O: Monkish continues to dominate this style for the West Coasters. Absolutely wonderful TIPA, and hides the 10.1% like it's a 5-6% session beer. Truly another gem.
