Poured from a 16 oz can; born on 3/08/21 (fresh!). Pours golden, burnt yellow with small foam head and decent lacing. Bitter grapefruit with a very slight malt backing. Decent offering.

16 oz. can.
Canned 03/08/21.

Moderate pour yields a one inch white head over a slightly hazy, light golden body with some lacing. Nose of citrus (orange, grapefruit) and tropical fruit (pineapple, mango). Taste of citrus, tropical fruit, and the tiniest bit of currants and white grape on the finish. Nice feel and overall, a real nice first canning for these guys and excited for more in the future.

Can. Cloudy but not murky with lasting head and lace. Bright citrus and tropical fruit aroma. Medium light sweetness with just a touch of cereal graininess and no raw pizza dough that plagues these NE IPA and PAs. Light citrusy finish. Light body soft medium carbo. Excellent.

On tap at the source, tulip glass.

Big unfiltered hazy looking golden straw liquid with a slim to the brim white cap. Modest web lacing.

The nose was a mix of light pineapple, some grapefruit rind, and grassy light wheat malt.

Citrus pop with a touch of tropical fruit flavors. The pineapple is there.

Light and tangy. Pretty bitter with a fresh finish. A bit thin.

The thin body held this one back. Otherwise, flavorful and hoppy, drinkable.

On tap at the brewery. Gold color and not much of a nose. Tastes include pineapple and mango with some grapefruit on the finish. Mouthfeel was OK with this easy drinking beer.

Pours a hazy golden blonde hue from a crowler (filled 7/7/17) into my glass. Sweet, crisp with a good citrus burst in the nose. Smells a lot stronger than it is (5.6%). Mango followed by light earthy pine and buttery malt finish. Lives up to the name. Fluffy, sweet and pleasant. Pick some up!

On tap at the brewery. They poured this into a tulip. The appearance was a hazy burnt yellow to glossy orange color with a bar pour’s kind of slim white head. Delicate smooth to semi-messy laced rings. The aroma starts off with sweet grassy hops over top of sharp bitter citrus rind blends nicely. And then some pineapple as it warms. The flavor brings together all of the previously mentioned flavors to boot into the aftertaste and slides into the finish. On the palate, this one sat about a light to medium on the body with a nice sessionability about it. Carbonation rides low enough to allow nice bitterness hitting my tongue. Overall, damn nice APA that I would love to have again.

The APA standards are sky high when you are a brewpub in Waterbury and this beer didn't meet those expectation for me. Bland and watery without much flavour coming from the hops.

Thanks for sharing the growler Emma.

A- Growler into a snifter with a fairly hazy pale golden body. A fluffy, thick white head rises up to a finger with deceny retention. Medium amounts of lace spots.

S- Those juicy fruit hops dominate the nose in an aroma that carries plenty of weight. A blast of tropical fruit tones like mango, peach and very juicy melon. Soft and hoppy.

T- Juicy hops once again make up the vast share of the experience but joined by dank, citrus and floral tones here. Juicy melon, tangerine, grapefruit, pine, mango, peach, floral and dank stinky herbs. Slight touch of pale base barley.

MF- Creamy and puffy light-medium body with a high end carbonation. Ends with a soft bitterness.

A pale ale that packs a whopping hop flavor but still retains a soft drinkability. Tropical fruit galore with some citrus and sticky dank tones.
