This is the case of another part of San Francisco that is deficient in beer places. It's on Fillmore and Sutter near Japan Town. A spacious corner bar and restaurant with big windows all around. Big beer boards you can read from outside on the sidewalk. Many fancy 12 inch pizzas for $12-15.

I counted 24 beers on tap, and it's pretty pricey. Bear Republic Tartare was listed at $10, while most others were $6.50 to $7.50 for 12 ounces or less. Nothing seems to be available in a pint. Interesting selection, though, with Allagash Victor & Victoria, Pacific Labs Squid Ink, Almanac Chocolate, Grand Teton Pursuit of Hoppiness, Old Rasputin, Flying Dog Gonzo and Raging Bitch, and more from the Bruery, Green Flash, Ballast Point, and Victory.
