look: 3.5 | smell: 3.5 | taste: 3.75 | feel: 3.75 | overall: 3.75

Appearance 3.50: Poured out a hazy, light golden color with a nice 1/2" head. Clearly bottle-conditioned, this beer has excellent lacing.

Smell 3.50: Nice and crisp bouquet. Some brief hints of clove, but no banana (not a bad thing, IMHO) and some other yeasty notes floating around.

Taste 3.75: Front is light and slightly sweet, with a very refreshing hit of the lovely bottle-conditioned bubbles. Middle is smooth and has a pleasant taste of wheat malt, but I also detect some reliable barley malt in this. Very light treacle tastes at this level. Finish is smooth and refreshing (notice a pattern?) with hints of spice. Aftertaste is quickly gone, but -again-- smooth and refreshing.

Mouthfeel 3.75: Very refreshing carbonation level in this beer.

Overall 3.75: Great wheat, one of the best that I've tried this season. Better late than never! This brew is pleasant, light and refreshing. I do not think that it is a straight wheat, but regardless, it is well worth the hype and worth tracking down.
