Poured from 12oz bottle into glass. Label has bottling date as '02/13/2018', with a suggest shelf life of six months.
Ruby brown colored body, with mahogany and ruby highlights throughout. Thin khaki tan head. Leaves behind scattered spots of lacing.
Roasted malts in the aroma, with light coffee and chocolate.
Slightly sweet taste of roasted malts, with mild flavors of chocolate and coffee. Mild hop bitterness at the end.
Thinner mouth feel. Good carbonation.
More of a session porter with rather mild aromas and flavors. Good, solid down the middle darker beer

12oz bottle into Nonic Pint
Bottled on 5/9/2018 with a best by 6 months
Pours a thick dark black with some brown highlights, with a huge tan head that just sits on the glass
Huge coffee and cream aroma
Light cream, chocolate, sweet cream, with a black coffe finish
Medium bodied with low carbonation and a creamy feel
Overall this is great! Easy drinking and on the lighter side with a ton of flavor especially that dark roast coffee finish

From the 12 fl. oz. bottle dated 06/05/18. Sampled on June 28, 2018.

It looks exactly as a Porter should look with a deep dark brown appearance, mocha or off-white lingering head, and decent lacing as it fades.

Big aroma of crusty dark bread, sweet roasted malts, cocoa, and a low to near invisible hop profile.

Light body as most Porters should be.

The taste has an enticing sweet and roasted ark malt character with crusty bread (again) and a cleaner finish that I expected. No to low earthy hop profile. But it is the sweetness that prevails. Very nice stylewise.

Above average body but carbonation was too high which tool away from the overall feel.. aroma was a strong blast of dark roasted coffee beans, black coffee, and malt. Taste was roasted dark coffee and some roasted malt. Overall a very good beer, the carbonation took away from it being a better scoring beer
