A: Amber, brown and red in color. Head retention and lacing are minimal.
N: Green apple, brandy, BBQ sauce, slightly gamey finish.
T: Awesomely malty a sudsy. Malt stays throughout, while some hops come in to clean off the palate. Dark fruit, alcohol hotness,

Pours a dark brownish amber color with an off white head and little to no lace. The aroma has big oxidized malt notes, cocoa, sherry, fruits, sweet vanilla like sugar. In the taste, big time dark fruits, char, cocoa, scotch, oxidization, sherry, apple, and vanilla. It would be incorrect to assume this is not a barrel aged release. The alcohol is apparent but not distracting, I had an idea what I was getting into. This can hang with some of the best barleywine ale in the world. A class brew.
