Ridiculous. I brew like lots of you, home brew or commercial brothers and sisters. I’m not going to go into a deep forensic analysis of this one… you are on hallowed ground. This one is a stunner. Spectacular. Just let it roll over you, and savor this one, Sure you can pick it apart, come up with a “flaw”… but why not just enjoy this triumph of brewing and revel in it. This is why we do this. Prost!

12oz bottle from Shrubber85. Clear amber pour, lasting tight off-white head. Malty, caramel, pine, dank. This what DIPAs are all about. A real classic

From the pint can, it pours a clear slightly dark amber color with a very nice off-white head that slowly reduces. The nose gets upfront citrus - my friend says orange - followed by caramel malt. The mouth follows with a malty flavor with minor alcohol noted (surprisingly since this is 11%) and it leaves a mild burnt malt aftertaste. Medium mouthfeel leaning towards heavy.

Ya, there is a ridiculously nice thick head on this...Malty flavor bomb...burnt sugar/toffee and dark fruit gives way to dank earth and strong hop finish. Slightly sweet mid-palate, then again it kinda punches you in the face (in a good way). This is a unique change from the over-proliferation of Hazy IPAs. Great beer

pours a slightly cloudy dark amber with a medium head. nose; sweet bread, light caramel, citrusy centennial hops, grapefruit, & pine. dank; amazing aroma. taste; biscuit, very strong centennial hops, grapefruit, pine, caramel, & citrus rind. tastes like it smells. extremely well-controlled for 11% with almost no unpleasant ethanol overtones. medium carbonation and slightly heavy mouthfeel. i don't think i enjoy it more than the regular two hearted ale, but it's a very nice dipa. i've seen 10%+ be a hot mess, but it's pulled off expertly here.

Cold tall boy can poured into a Wasatch Brewing can-glass (!)
Fall spiced cider in appearance, generous head that laces down beautifully.
Smell is piney, danky, a little fruit.
Taste is a medium bitter hop bomb, grapefruit, lingering burn from the 11% ABV. Instabuzz.
Feel is nicely light for a sud of this gravity. Mid carb.
Overall, a beloved American Classic all hot, hopped up and raring to go. Zoom.,.

Great classic DIPA!!! First pour from a 16 oz can, a clear copper color, subsequent pours were more hazy. In all cases, there was a huge foamy white head and thick rings of foamy lacing on the pint glass. Very good aroma and taste. Strong bitterness with piney and citrus (grapefruit) hops - a hophead's delight with some (not quite balancing) caramel malt. Wonderful flavor, a nice break from all the milder NE IPAs out there. Mouthfeel was rich, crisp and quite bitter. There was some warming and "bite" from the alcohol but not enough to take from the overall enjoyment of this beer. A "mo' better" take on original Two Hearted!!!
