Crafted as a flavorful session beer and perfect for autumn, Octoberfest spends a full six weeks fermenting.
With herbal hop aromas, this balanced amber lager focuses on lightly toasted malt that lends body without too much sweetness. Perfect for a week-long wedding celebration in Germany or the start of the Michigan autumn.

Pours a beautiful clear copper color with a large inch an a half slightly yellowed head. Ther is nice head retention but no real lacing.
The aroma is really nice. Some nice malty tones with notes of caramel, grain, sugar and spice.
The taste is ok, but a little lacking. The nice malty tones from the nose don't really translate. It's watery, and has a noteiceable hop bite. Normally I'm a fan of the hop, but this isn't really working for me in this O'fest. It's really kind of a poor effort in the taste arena.
Mouthfeel is a little thin and watery wih a high dose of carbonation.
Drinkabiliys moderae to low. This beer had a lot of good things going for it, but it falls flat s soon as it hits the tongue. It loked and smeled like a good o'fest, but the taste just wasn't quite there for me.

Look is medium amber. Smell is rich lager malt. Taste is slightly sweet breaded malt. Feel is medium bodied. Overall, a decent example of the Marzen style and one of the better produced in Michigan.

Below average Ofest here from a brewery that usually does better. The nose can’t hide the flaws and is a dead giveaway. The flavor isn’t any better. Off notes galore. This beer isn’t old so I wonder if it was stored and shipped in hot conditions? Not even average.

Nice amber pour yields the aromas of toasted malts and noble hops. Flavor follows suit. Nice firm bitterness. 5.5% abv., easy drinking Oktoberfest here.

Copper/gold appearance with off white foam that dissipated in a minute or so. Initial mild aroma that deepened as the beer warmed. Nice drinker, touch of malts come though balanced by a dry smooth finish. Would purchase again.

Golden-amber, smell is grassy and mild, the taste is toasted barley malt with hops in the finish that give off a metallic bitterness, very drinkable, expensive

9/4/23 On tap at Pies and Pints in Morgantown.
Beautiful deep copper look with beautiful tan head
Aroma is metallic, stone. Light underlying malt.
Taste.... Slight bitter to start and finishes dry and nicely balanced in bitterness. Malt finish is good. A very decent offering with a slight toastiness with low sweetness which is a plus for us!
