Very Good
Official Hazy IPAOfficial Hazy IPA
Notes: Two of our favorite ingredients come together in the brewhouse; pungent American hops and delicious wheat malt. This Hazy IPA is double dry-hopped (a combination of Mosaic, Citra, Azacca, Amarillo and El Dorado hops) resulting in complex peach, stone fruit and tropical notes with a dry finish and balanced bitterness. A refined beer for those who love hops and for those who prefer wheat beers. Go ahead and make it Official.

hazy gold with a thin head. lots of "sludge" at the bottom of the can that poured out

smell is pure hops, nice peach with a bit of pineapple juice to it

has a ton of pineapple juice to the flavor, some orange and peach to it as well.

easy to drink yet also somewhat chewy. has a wheat body to it

This ain’t M43, that’s for sure. Pale yellow, looks thin, feels thin, not really the thickness you can expect from a hazy ipa - this tastes more like a pale ale. Decent feel, nice citrusy hop notes, very drinkable, but not big on flavor. Fine for the price, but not something to seek out really. If they start offering this at stadiums and concerts and stuff, likely to be the best on tap unless there is Two Hearted available.

This one looks the part for sure. Yellow-golden and opaque. Lovely.

The smell throws me off a bit - definite pineapple and stone fruit, but a strong honey note.

The taste is a lot brighter than the aroma - the sweetness is more metered, with grapefruit jumping to the forefront. Still the pineapple and stone fruit flavors pop out on the back-end with less sweetness on the finish than I expected based on the aroma.

The bright carbonation really cuts through the body of this one, finishing with a dry feeling while still sticking to palate a bit.

I've rarely seen a misstep from Bell's and this certainly isn't one of them. A very solid NEIPA.

This is just not very good, and a perfect example of the NE IPA mediocrity. There's nothing here grabs you, not assertive, or bold, or flavorful for that matter. Boring. Looks, smells, taste. feel, and overall incredibly boring. i was actually annoyed drinking this. Best part is I only spent $1.50 for the (non) pleasure.

This beer pours a mostly clear yellow with an average head. The aroma is rather floral with white flowers and lavender, with lemon peel and a bit of grassy, earthy scent. The flavor starts light with lemon peel, white flower, and just a hint of passion fruit, with a bit of cracker malt detectable. The mouthfeel is quite light with exuberant carbonation. Overall, this has some pleasant light flavors, but it really misses the style - too much malt flavor for a New England, and rather disappointing aromatic intensity.

Canned on 2/13/19. 12oz can poured into a tulip. Pours a hazy yellowish golden; fluffy eggshell white head that falls leaving great retention and sticky lacing. The aromas have a nice amount tropical fruits. Some crackers. Malts are there. The flavors basically follow the nose for the most part. Some pineapple and coconut. Mild hints of grapefruit. Lots of fresh grass. Solid sharp bitterness. More crackers along with some bread. Malts do their thing without dominating at all. Finishes clean and juicy. Alcohol goes unnoticed. Mouthfeel is very nice. It's on the lighter side of medium-bodied with active carbonation. It's sharp, crisp, slightly fluffy, smooth, refreshing and easy to drink.

This is a pretty solid "Hazy IPA". It's very clean, crisp, sharp and refreshing. It's not super flashy, but the craftsmanship is pretty impressive and takes this one to the next level. It's enjoyable and fun to drink.

Poured from a can into a pint glass. Pours cloudy yellow with just a hint of orange, and with a fluffy white head. Smells of citrus and piney hops, very full aroma. Tastes of citrus hops and light grain, just a hint of pine. Beer is light bodied and very easy drinking, good carbonation. Overall, a very good beer.

12 oz can packaged on 2/7/19. Hazy, golden, Pineapple juice looking w/ very minimal head. Aroma is muted tropical fruit. Tastes OK, but the mouthfeel is very light. It finishes with a slightly unpleasant taste reminiscent of perfume. Easy drinking, but this one is not for me.

12 oz can.

Color is somewhere in between deep gold and light amber. Cloudy with a creamy white head.

Nice aroma consisting mainly of tropical fruit and peach. Flavor follows suit with some wheat malt mixed in. Medium bodied.

The initial first few sips of this beer were very good, refreshing on a hot day outside. But I grew tired of it very quickly, which is a common problem I have with NEIPAs. The drinkability is just not there and after about 4 ounces, I'm ready for something else. I drank about 8 ounces of this and sent the last 4 down the drain. Just wasn't feeling it.
