Formerly Winter White Ale
An alternative to dark and heavy winter warmers and stouts, Winter White is a stylish and refreshing Wheat Ale.
Fermented with a Belgian ale yeast, this blend of barley and wheat malts yields a mixture of clove and fruity aromas, all without the use of any spices. Deliberately brewed to retain a cloudy appearance, Winter White is a beer for embracing winter.

I definitely think this is better than blue moon so I'll look forward to getting this when I want a basic belgian white, that said some of the more expensive opti8ns of this style like Spencer's are a lot more flavorful. Definitely like this one a lot, it's hard to find this in Colorado so I'm glad I'm closer to the source now.

pours super hazy (with a few floaters) mellow yellow gold body that has sparse carbo-bubbles floating upwards and a cream colored foam head that has very little retention and barely rises before settling back down to a murky cap with defined halo - no lacing here, but you shouldn't expect that here, eh?
aroma is sweet, mellow, and yeasty.
taste is super mellow. the clove is pretty forward, and the yeast is the main attraction for sure, though it isn't some wild strain or a super-Belgian lean-in. it's a tad funky but mostly just a really tame yeast bomb. the fruit is sweet but honestly barely there. it's like 45% yeast, 45% wheat, 10% carbonation.
feel is super carbonated with medium-light body that runs super smooth and mellow and pillowy and billowing. finishes abruptly (and smoothly) with a super-chill wheat-malty sweet aftertaste with lingering clove.
overall:
this one sticks out. it's an odd feeling, really. I probably need like 4 more goes on this one until I settle in, but my initial take is "super carbonated yet smooth wheat and Belgian-yeast" - and it's mostly "feeling" btw. the flavor is restrained, purposefully, no doubt, but either way fairly muted. it has a sweet clove-laced funk to it, but it's total background. also, the mouthfeel is super carbonated but super soft. it's impressive, but somehow underwhelming.
Bells still manages to be in my top 5 greats - even with "underwhelming" they somehow impress the hell out of me.

I'm biased towards wits and I'm biased towards Bells so this hits all the right spots for me. It's nothing especially fantastic and is maybe a little below the usual standards for Bells but it's refreshing with spice and the typical wit flavors.

Appearance: Cloudy yellow body, large white head, decent lacing.
Aroma: Yeasty, grainy, wheaty, soft fruit.
Taste: Yeast still contributing, fruit a bit more pronounced. On the sweet side of the balance scale.
Mouthfeel: Medium bodied, good carbonation, lingering finish.
Overall: Winter Whites have that little niche that many appreciate and this fills that space in fice fashion.

Pale straw color, not much head and it disipates quickly. Medium carbonation. A decent witbier. Easy drinker.

12 oz bottle, packaged 10/26/21. Pours clear straw gold with a big rocky white head that retains well and leaves a little lacing.
The aroma is sweet earthy grainy malts with floral spice.
The flavor is sweet bready malt with earthy floral notes and a little spice and a medium bitter finish. The mouthfeel is medium bodied with smooth carbonation.
Overall, an OK wit.
