Pours a slightly hazy golden with little to no head. Wonderful clove taste perfect for a winter ale. Easy to drink with a light to medium feel. Will look for again next year.

From the slightly out of date can, it pours a hazy light amber with a modest head. Lacing as you enjoy it. The scent is of clove and bread and the taste is light, lemony and malty. Feels velvety on the tongue. Yum!

Purchased 12pack for $16.99 of Bell's Winter White Ale (normally drink Samual Adams' ales), no buzz at all. Doybt it is 5% alcohol.......bad decision.....never again...garbage....truthfully! (Hey, I took the time to log in to beer advocate and write this review if I genuinely think this beer sucks!) Take Care Everyone!!!

Picked up a 6-pack of these at the local grocery store, and of course got them good and cold in my fridge before trying. Smell is quite interesting, it smelled very similar to toasted wheat crackers-- I have never experienced such a strong wheat smell from any other wheat beer. I also picked up on some hops too. Taste is quite simiiar to what I smelled-- like toasted wheat, along with hops, grass and maybe a little bit of lemon too. Taste is consistent thru the mouthful, and left a little tingle on the tongue from the carbonation, not unpleasant at all. Beer finish is not dry and has a mild aftertaste.

This is perhaps the most straightforward Wheat beer that I have tasted, from any region or style-- all other wheat beers have some type of fruit taste infused in them, but not this beer-- just good ol' clean wheat beer taste. I would drink this again.

Poured from a bottle into a glass with minimal yeast rousing.

Golden like pineapple juice. Nice and cloudy. A thin bubble ring around the edge.
Smells like wheat, yeast, bread, and slight spice.
Tastes of Belgian yeast and a clove or pepper-like spice. A very subtle flavor profile.
Fairly smooth.

Pours a nice hazy golden color with almost no head or lacing. Smells of wheat and yeast. Bottle dated 10/16/2016.... Was it supposed to have all that sediment at the bottom? Hazy is one thing, but flakes is another. Bell's does a nice Two-Hearted Ale, so i thought I'd give this a try...Supposedly a "Belgian Inspired Wheat Ale" and made with Belgian yeast, but I'm not picking up on that much. I'm not picking up on much actually: a little spiciness, but mostly this is just a wheat beer without much character. I get the barley and wheat and mild malts....A little bit of caramel sugar flavor, a little fruity.... But very refreshing. Yes, its an easy drinking beer with medium carbonation and a decent finish. There isn't anything mind-blowing or interesting here, just a potable wit.

Hazy golden color with a 2 finger head of loose bubbly soapy proportions.

Aromas of clean water, slight clove, urine, and cilantro.

Flavor is heavy on coriander and cilantro, with some nice yeastiness, slight banana peel and lemon.

Feel is heavily carbonated yet still pretty light feeling. Nice semi-dryness on the finish.

Overall this is a nice crispy winter Wit. I'd have it again next year.

Winter whites are a favo style for me, and this is a good one. Pours a cloudy yellow with a thin white head and good lacing. Pleasant fruity smell. Lemon And clove flavored, not too sweet. A good beer!

Poured from a 12oz glass into a speiglau wheat snifter.

Look is a hazy golden yellow with a thin white head.

Definite clove and banana ester note on the aroma. Lots of the yeast coming through.

Body is thin but th taste is full. A dry floral banana taste that lingers across the palate.

Interesting take on a winter beer, and very good.

I really enjoyed this one. Single bottle poured into a wheat glass. A nice, mildly spicy wheat beer. A refreshing change of pace from heavy winter ales and much more interesting and enjoyable than Bell's Christmas Ale. Really interesting that they obtained the flavor without actually using spices.

Bell's Winter White Ale has a thick, creamy, off-white head, an opaque, orange-gold appearance, and the beer gets a descending gray-yellow cloud, following the "swish & pour". Aroma is of spice, white wheat bread, coriander, clove, a touch of citrus, and, perhaps, banana peel. Taste is of all that, with some touch of black pepper and lots of sugar. Mouthfeel is lower medium, and Bell's Winter White Ale finishes medium dry.

The first time I had this beer, I was walking through a snow covered forest, just like the one on the label. Its very refreshing, though drinking cold is the best.

This is my change of pace lighter ale for the holiday period for when the food gets heavy and the going gets long. An easy sipper, which has just enough yeasty notes to keep things interesting. Light bodied with a few peppery sides to it, this makes a solid choice when the heavier winter warmers are weighing you down.

This beer pours a hazy light yellow golden color reminiscent of lemonade. The headankness is fluffy, 2 fingers high and bright white. Retention is moderate and there is some spotted lacing.

Smell is fruity, bready, yeast, that banana like clove flavor. A bit subdued, but pretty nice.

Taste is the same. Flavor is mild, but very good. Clove flavor hangs on well into the aftertaste.

Feel is light, smooth and very easy drinking. Crushable.

Overall a good beer. I wish the flavor was a bit stronger though. I also find it strange this is a winter beer bc I would much rather drink one on a hot summer day.

This beer is orangish gold with citrus flavor. A perfect Belgium whip, goes well with an orange. Tastes good in a wheat glass or out of the bottle. Creamy head and sparkling crisp flavor. Perfect beer to have at the end of the winter nearing spring when the snow is melting and you're tired of all the stouts, porters, and high abv beers.

It poured a cloudy yellow with a nice head that dissipated fast. Aroma is of yeast and also the taste. I did not pick up on any other flavors. Mouthful is light but not watery. Overall a nice beer but there are other wheat beers better than this.

First time I had this was on a cold day after working outside. I thought it was excellent. Great mix of spice, crisp and refreshing. Waited till next year and that batch was an extra clove taste to me? Not as good as the first time, but is it ever?

Appearance is a cloudy, light golden with a moderate white foam cap that dissipated quickly. Aroma is orange, coriander, and a distinct Belgian fruity yeast ester. Taste is a light bready malt with coriander spice, orange peel, pears, and a sharp hop bitterness on the end. Mouthfeel is light with a slight creaminess, and moderate carbonation. Finishes tart and bitter with a lingering pear and orange peel flavor. Great witbier.

The color is cloudy and yellow with a foamy white head. Aromas are those of cloves and wheat with some sweetness and banana hints. The taste is slightly acidic with definite banana and wheat flavor present. It tastes low in hops but is full in the mouth.

Appearance looks like what you expect a Blue Moon to look like. Opaque and golden yellow with a off-white head. Smells like bananas and cloves, very different of a smell. The banana and clove flavor comes out when you take your first sip. You can taste the wheat aspect of the beer but it is still crisp and clean. Slight bitter flavor that appeals to those that enjoy multiple tastes. Clean, delightful and refreshing!
