I sampled this beer at a friend's house with burgers and potatoes.

With a reasonable pour I got a medium head that hung around but didn't show particular lacy character or tenacity

The aroma was mostly caramel and malt but there was a little bit of alcohol and maybe some fruity notes.

I enjoyed this beer immensely - overall a caramel and malty dominance but there is a hint of sourness and many even cherry flavor to it. Mouthfeel is appropriate - not a ton of body but enough to feel like you are drinking a decent beer.

The beer paired great with burgers - especially one with blue cheese and sun-dried tomato aoli. I think it would accompany a funky cheese well.
