Nice taproom....beer is very bland. The IPA was really good as well as Amber Alt. Service was great and brew master was fun to chat with. A good stop for the Dells but nothing to write home about.

Great place great staff. Great beers in their selections and you can bring in food. Wish they had larger selections of beers

Did a search for breweries as I always do when going out of town. This is the only true brewery in the dells. They had 5 beers on tap: Amber Alt, Hefeweizen, Honey Blonde, Oktoberfesr, and Porter. I've never liked honey blonde ales personally (just not my thing) but their Honey Blonde was the best I've had. The Porter is my personal favorite there. I'd give all the beers minimum 4 stars out of 5. The service there was very pleasant and very friendly! Oatmeal Stout was coming soon they told me. DEFFINATELY worth a stop if you are in the dells! I will be back my next trip there.

Good service. Has a real 'locals' feel. Complimentary popcorn.

Taproom that only sells their beer on tap. The beer is fine. Not bad, not great. The staff is friendly and knowledgable. The location is not ideal but it's worth seeking out if you are in the Dell's and want to escape from the downtown tourist traps.

2017:
Stopped here again, nice experience. Definitely a laid back place in the Dells which can be hard to find. They close fairly early so plan ahead. They finally made a sour beer, so that's notable. Still not many seasonals or small batch stuff.

For BA's the main stops in town are Port Huron, Showboat, and Viking Liquor. Plenty of cool spots once you get out of town, in Baraboo, Hillsboro, Reedsburg, Viroqua, etc. Basically anywhere but the Dells.

2013:
The brewery is located on a quiet deserted back road in an industrial park on the eastern edge of town. A handpainted wooden sign out front lets you know you're in the right place. The bar was full inside, so we opted for one of the 4-5 tables. A window behind the bar allowed a view into the brewery, and as we left I noticed a couple patrons getting a tour.

Service was great, the bartender brought sampler flights and popcorn over to our table, and was chatty with us. There were only 3 beers on tap (Honey Blonde, Hefeweizen, and Classic Porter), and no seasonals unfortunately. They mentioned they may bring some oatmeal stout to the Great Taste.

Decor was clean and industrial, some fan rotors high overhead, framed breweriana and malt sacks on the wall, and shelves of German beer mugs on shelves behind the bar.

Overall it was a nice escape from the cheesy craptastic scene elsewhere in the Dells, but the lack of beers here made it a one and done.

To the brewer: You have a brewery. Go nuts. Be creative and make a bunch of fun beers for the taproom that you want to drink, not just the standard-brewpub-lineup™ of crowdpleasing mediocrity. Don't run out of your seasonal beer before the next one goes on, allocate enough for the taproom, and distribute your regular stuff and seasonals if you can. Thank you, amen.
