Appearance: Pours out a hazed, medium amber-toned body with a medium-small, but lasting, white head.

Smell: Hoppy notes of pine, grassiness, as well as fragrant, glistening orange and grapefruit atop the diversely bready, lightly caramelized maltiness.

Taste: Caramel and spiced brown sugar sweetening the fullish bready, toasty malts with the richness soon cut by the oily, scantly citric fruitiness of oily grapefruit and bitter orange. Also, a piney quality and some sustained grassiness. Moderate bitterness. Faint toasted almond on the back half as the beer warms a tad. A smattering of light esters. Herbal and citrus flavors linger beyond the long, dry, bitter finish.

Mouthfeel: Medium-bodied. On the livelier side of medium carbonation. A little perceived oiliness in the mouthfeel.

Overall: A good, hoppy brew from Spain, no less.

Pours a hazy amber colour. Smells like light malts, grapefruit, with faint floral hops. Tastes mostly bitter with grapefruit, crisp, clean, and the bitterness lingers.

Another fine creation from Naparbier ive just had on tap, with plenty of hops on top of malts, lemon and brown sugar, with just the right amount of sweetness. Funnily enough i am finally getting into American styles through local breweries.

Hazy orange color with white head. Aroma is a bit weird, metallic and dank. Taste is better, caramel malt and a lot of walnuts on the finish. Body and carbonation are medium. Taste is quite good but the aroma is a letdown.

Poured from 750 mL bottle into shaker pint glass.
A: Pours a golden orange hue with moderate carbonation jets producing a 3 inch light tan head with good retention. Light lacing persists throughout.
S: Light caramel malt, sweet citrus hops, and soft pine hops. A nice balance which you normally don't find in the aroma.
T: Soft and sweet lighter caramel malt meets up with dry, bitter, citrus and pine hops. In the taste, the balance is shifted more toward the fresh hops. As this settles in, tropical fruit, grapefruit, and herbal notes arise from the complex hop profile. With warming, brown sugar, toast, and toffee notes emerge from the less complex--but still good--malt profile.
M: Light-medium body. Initially soft and sweet, but quickly overtaken by astringent, bitter hop notes that last well into the finish.
D: This brew was a pleasant surprise. I like the complexity of the malts and hops. The balance is good...perfect on the nose. An interesting take on the style.

A: Pours a crystal clear medium amber in color with moderate to heavy amounts of active visible carbonation rising quickly from the bottom of the glass and faint golden yellow highlights. The beer has a four finger tall dense foamy beige head that reduces to a medium to large sized two finger tall cap in the center surrounded by a thick film covering the remainder of the surface of the beer and a thick ring at the edges of the glass. Moderate amounts of lacing are observed.

S: Moderate aromas of toasted, bready, and caramel malts with a light amount of sweetness. There are also light to moderate aromas of citrus/orange, pine, and grassy hops.

T: Upfront there are slightly stronger than moderate flavors of toasted, bready, and caramel malts with a light amount of sweetness. There is a light yeastiness towards the middle that lingers into the finish. That is followed by light to moderate flavors of citrus/orange, pine, and grassy hops which impart a light to moderate amount of assertive bitterness which slowly fades away.

M: Medium bodied with moderate to heavy amounts of lively carbonation.

O: Interesting hybrid Amber + APA with decent flavors and aromas of toasted malts and hops. Easy to drink and enjoyable, probably would be even better if it was super fresh but I have no way of knowing how much age this one had (I felt obligated to grab this one since I had never seen anything from the brewery).

Appearance: It poured a nice clear, tawny color with almost no head.

Smell: The most distinctive note I got was of honey, with a little bit of the hops and malt.

Taste: The taste was a well-balanced combination of a clean, dry hoppiness (no lingering aftertaste or bite) and brown-sugar maltiness.

Mouthfeel: The mouth feel was light without being thin or effervescent.

Overall: Very drinkable. The melding of the hops and malt flavors was very well done.
