Pours a slightly hazy gold colour. Faint citrus hop smell on top of classic pilsner yeast and malt. Tastes slightly like grapefruit, with the underlying pilsner dry, malt body. Very refreshing and crisp overall.

Light yellow body, resembling a witbier. Dank, citrusy smell, slightly funky and fresh at the same time. The taste is dry and bitter, and very refreshing, with hints of lemon and grapefruit. Medium carbonation and smooth mouthfeel - a refreshing drink.

On tap in a Teku at Naparbier bar. Branded as a hoppy pils i found it to be moderate in that department, which i liked. Nice bready aromas besides the hops with lots of lemon in the taste. Not exactly a German Pilsner but still an interesting take on the style which follows its own route for a tasty, well balanced and refreshing beer i will have again.

I thought Aotearoa was a Basque word at first but now i realize it references the Maori word for the north island in NZ, because of the hops used.

White head, remains long.
The aroma of citrus fruit, with a really powerful. Citrus, citrus and once again citrus. Taste is an exact copy of flavors, all surprisingly intense. Aotearoa hoppy Pils has the consistency of a slightly oily, smooth. Light beer with hop bitterness. Very tasty.

Bright sunshine yellow with bone white film. 4
Powerful grass, Citra lemon, kumquat and white melon nose. 4.25
Saltines, then grapefruit ring, Nelson Sauvin-style gooseberry, and spicy white grape hops. 4.25
Lime finish and zesty linger.
Crisp, just past light, round, dry. 3.75

Goes for the lean, Pinot Gris end of NZ hopping. Great that it gets that hop character without resorting to IPL strength - I could session this all day. But it still is a bit thin and sharp, which only accentuates the lack of any sweetness. Among the better hoppy lagers, but probably drinks best in hot weather. 4

Tried this both on tap at Bier Cab and in a 33 cl bottle. Billed as a hoppy pils brewed with New Zealand hops. The nose is a fruity floral hop bomb. Taste is hoppy and fruity at first, then a little malt, but ends sharply bitter to remind you this is a pils after all. The mouthfeel is quite light. There's a lot going on in this beer for only 5.4 ABV. Very tasty and quite refreshing. The favor is as big as any imperial pils I've tried, but in a much lighter beer. Those New Zealand hops are really something. I really enjoyed this, an unusual offering. Definitely worth a try if you're up for a hoppy pils.
