Bottle from La Cathedral, Bilbao - Pours jet black with a huge white foamy head. High carbonation from bottle, have a glass ready. Aroma - citrus - grapefruit, resin notes. Taste - citrus - grapefruit, resin notes, roasted malts, light bitter finish. Stands up well black IPA if a little feisty on opening.

A great black IPA. Chestnuts, citrus, grass. Big bitterness but good balance. It gets better as it warms up and it grows on you. My first beer from this brewery and it's top notch

Black color with coffee brown head. Aroma has dank hops and roasted malts. Taste starts slightly sweet with caramel and dark malts and gets bitter and hoppy on the finish and lingers in the aftertaste with coffee flavor. Smooth body with good carbonation. A really good example of a black IPA.

Black colour, with a beige head that holds for a while, some lace. Smell of roasted malts, coffee, dark and tropical fruits, hops, pine, licorice. It feels dense in the palate, rough, sticky. Full body. Taste of chocolate, coffee, roasted malts, dark fruits, blck pepper. Another great one from Naparbier.

On tap. Dark appearance with a pretty nice beige head. Fruity hops in the nose, with a hint of liquorice. Taste of roasted malts, coffee and citrusy hops. Medium body with a bitter dry mouthfeel which makes for an excellent drinkability. Alcohol hardly noticeable.

Back in Black doesn´t show any overnotes and is incredibly well balanced, with no flaws either. An excellent session beer given its ABV. Well done Navarre!

Officialy presented at BBF -Barcelona Beer Festival-. On-tap-Pint glass.Enjoyed on mar´12.Very dark brown color.Tan creamy lasting crown.Copious rings.Slightly piney, subtle roasted malt aromas.Intense resiny upfront.Toasted malt & fruit flavors. Quite buttery -could be chewed- mouthfeel.Sharp hoppy flavor in the middle.Medium body & soft carbonation.Resiny & oily hoppy bitterness on the aftertaste.Refreshing.Easy drinkability, ABV is well masked.Malts & hops perform a nice well balanced dancing both in flavors & aromas.
