Cerveza de cuerpo ligero, con carbonatación media. En su aroma destacan la banana, vainilla y pan. Tiene un final dulce, seco y con una pizca de amargor.

L- Poured veeery slowly into an over-size pint glass as below reviews warned me to expect foam. No kidding! It's started off with about a 3cm pillowy white head and there is very lively rising CO2 below. Slightly hazy pale amber. I left quite a lot of sediment in the bottle.
S- It has a distinct spicy nose, with soft-fruits added into the mix.
T- Develops slowly, took a good 5 seconds for the 'bitter ending' to reveal itself.
M- Dryer, thinner and more bitter than expected. I was expecting more of a rich/fruity heavy 'Christmas' type beer. That's not a negative though; in fact I could mini-session a few of these whereas if as rich as I expected it to be I'd usually stop at one.
O- Very different to what I'd imagined a 7.5% Belgic beer would be like, and I like it. Despite resting this bottle for 36hrs in the chiller it poured, even v slowly, with a copious head. Prepare to be patient or maybe consider an over-size glass.
Not cheap, but I would buy it again.

I bought this from Marks + Spencer in London, UK at £2.50/33Cl BB: 21/06/2020

Pours clear gold with vast head that lasts well

Odd nose, includes liquorice and anise, fruity too. Interesting.

definitely some anise in taste too, sweet no bitterness but dry enough just to compensate.

still loads of carb even with the huge head.

An interesting beer certainly. recommended.

It has some very lively carbonation, loads of tropical fruit notes and floral hop bitterness. As it warms a little I get more grassy hop notes. So yeah I get nice pineapple, passion fruit, star fruit and a touch of just barely ripe mango over light grain malt. It has mild sweetness up front a very slight tartness and Belgian yeast funk in the middle and some solid dry hops in the finish.

Bottle. Poured out a cloudy, golden yellow color with a small, bubbly head of foam. It smelled yeasty with toasted caramel and spices. Sweet caramel up front with a spicy bite.

Pours a hazy golden color with a huge top of white creamy head that dissolves rather fast. The aroma of citrus fruits like lemon and orange, floral hops, corriander, honey and some notes of tropical fruits like pineapple. The taste is fruity and sweet with notes of the citrus instantly from the start followed by a dry and hoppy bitterness. The back has some light malts as well as spicy notes where corriander is quite noticable. The finish has a nice bitterness and dryness with good notes of herbal and floral hops. The aftertaste could have been more balanced, is a little bland but has a decent length. Medium carbonation with a medium body and a smooth mouthfeel.
A pleasant beer that was enjoyable with a good flavour.

Looks good initially, the head dissipates to a thin film, a typical blonde.

Aroma is very good, spiced apple, plenty of alcohol. Actually has notes of liquorice, almost like a sambuca.

Taste is at odds with the aroma, but equally good in its own right. Malty and and sweet, certainly has you reaching for another sup.

The feel is a little dry, but 7.5% for a standard blonde, that seems to come with the territory.

Overall, this is a confused beer in many ways, but definitely a 4/5 every day of the week.

Poured from 11.2oz bottle into Westvleteren chalice.

L - Hazy gold pour with a creamy white head.

S - Green apple, mango/pineapple, candy sugar, must. Mouth-watering.

T - Light cider, white fruits, grape must, candy sugar. Juicy start, dry finish with a slight astringency.

F - Crisp, light carbonation, easy on the palate.

A complex, but not overpowering beer. Very refreshing, a well refined blonde.
