This beer has a white, smooth and very compact head. Its pale amber colour is very characteristic revealing a distinctive maltiness. It has a rich aroma with a unique combination of aromatic hops, spices and the typical bouquet of fermentation – very fruity. Secondary fermentation in the bottle gives it a unique aroma due to the presence of yeast. St-Feuillien Triple has a very strong and exceptionally lingering taste thanks to its density and its long storage period. Whether served as a refreshing aperitif in summer or savoured during the winter months, the Triple is a connoisseur’s beer par excellence.

Third beer in its own glass from the Better Beer Society event. I've had the St. Feuillien Triple on a couple of occasions, but really enjoying this one tonight.
Fluffy snow white head sits on top of a hazy orange beer. Assertive, yeasty nose with tons of lemon zest, orange, citrus on top of a light spice. Carbonation bite emphasizes the fruit and yeast, and it punches through a sweet malt. Light on the tongue but not thin. A real pleasure to drink, so St. Feuillien may have just moved up the list for this summer's trip to Belgium.

11.2 oz bottle production dated 26/06/23 into a snifter.
L: SRM 3 Pours a radiant light orange gold with a slight yeast haze, slowly poured, a thin white head that is just edge foam, very good steady carbonation bubbles, no lacing, extremely light sediment over time.
S: Banana bread, spices, light fruits, a hint of grains.
T: Banana, citrus, clove, light apple, pear, lemon, orange, a touch of confection sugar, wheat, Belgian yeast, distant grains, sweet maltiness, fruit esters are throughout. It is medium-full flavored and is overall fruity.
F: Quite brisk to lightly punchy then moderately smooth medium bodied mouthfeel with a smooth & soft medium length finish that has delicate dryness.
O: Gently sweet, fruity, and very tasty. Superb feel. One of the best Belgian Triples I've had. It has a beautiful balance overall and is world-class in its style.

I had this on draft 1/22/24 @ the Hopleaf.
Semi-opaque dull orange rust appearance.
Small white head; strong lacing remained.
Melon, mild banana & faint clove notes in the nose.
Medium mouthfeel.
Melon & faint banana flavors up front; spring water, mild lemon & faint clove notes on the finish.
Bright, easy to drink, but with a nice depth. World class.

Not my favorite triple, but very good none the less. A little sweeter than I would like (I taste a lot of apple?), but it is still very pleasant and enjoyable. Does not taste near as strong as it is.

Redder color, compared to most tripels. Foamy head. Hoppy scent. Juicy taste with viscous mouth feel. Bitter notes. Minimal spice.
Less effervescent and dry than some tripels or Belgian strong pale ales.

Pours a clear amber color with a tall stiff head with moderate lacing.
Smells of yeast and spice.
Tastes of malt, yeast and spice with a salty and peppery moderately bitter finish.
Medium b0dy and carbonation. Dry mouthfeel.
This brew is true to the style but more bitter than most. I think it would be better if less bitter.

L: very large white head and transparent gold body
S: molasses, banana, chalk or oyster shells, and pepper
T: maple syrup, bread, and hops spice
F: excellent carbonation
Reasonably good beer with no harsh alcohol bite, but not equivalent to the classic Belgian triples like Duvel, Golden Draak, and Piraat. Would go well with seafood or white meat. A bit lacking in flavor and nuance.

From the bottle, it pours a clear to ever so slightly hazy yellow color with a modest, though long lasting, white head that does leave a touch of lacing. The nose gets some spice and a little yeast. The mouth gets a spicy malt brew that is easy to drink.

11.20oz brown bottle. Label is marked for bottling date as '19/03/2021'.
Partly cloudy, pale gold colored body with circulating particles. Big white foam head; took three pours to empty the bottle. Leaves partial sheets of lacing.
Aroma of lightly toasted malts, fruit like apricot and apple, and yeast esters. Not overly strong.
Taste is strong from the fruit and from the yeast. Fruit expressions of apple, pear, and apricot. Big spice, like coriander, from shortly in until the end. Belgian yeast is slightly sour. Good malt undertones. Tangy in the aftertaste.
Silky thickness for mouth feel. Quite dry. Excellent carbonation.
Backed by the malts, the taste is fruit and yeast dominated. Old world beer making. So complex but yet not unapproachable.

L: Straw wheat. Cloudy. Plenty of head. Bottle conditioned. Extremely active, probably want to open this off the chill.
S: Nice. Wheat with a twang to it, perhaps a fancy Belgian fermentation process. A bit of like, coriander, pepper, orange peel? It's spicy and enticing. Reminds me a bit of Ayinger Brauweiss.
T: So bitter. Plenty of hops, St Feuillien does a good job with that usually. The grains are handled excellently. This is definitely top shelf stuff, and it even tastes great.
F: The grains are just melting in my mouth. It's very easy to drink given that it's 8.5%
O: The first time I've genuinely enjoyed a tripel.
