Another extremely good IPA from Tree House. This is one of the best smelling beers I have ever had! Tastes fantastic too, of course. Cloudy, citrusy, dank, and delicious! I think that regular Julius just might edge C5 out In my opinion, but this is EXCELLENT.

I arrived an hour before opening today, and i'm glad I did! I was first in line and by the time the doors opened there were at least 50 people waiting.

Worth the wait! I have 2250 ML of this total, and i'm going to enjoy every one of them!

Thanks to rudzud for picking this up, was dying to try this.

Pours a big creamy fluffy thick 1.5 finger head fades semi slowly with rich lacing, murky hazy grapefruit flesh peach color.

Nose wafts out from a few feet back, just awesome hops, loads if tropical fruit, mango puree, guava, little papaya, grapefruit pith, loads of fresh oranges and tangerine, nice dank resin. Under all that is a nice but light fluffy malty aroma, just enough prop up the hops. Flashes of floral hops with the musty resin, and maybe a hint of passion fruit, the mango really explodes. Tropical fruit, at least certain aspects could pop a bit more, but nitpicking.

Taste starts with great tropical fruits again, it's basically just tropical fruit juice, so much mango, papaya, guava, etc. Lots of fresh oranges, clementines and tangerines. Mild bitter rind like character too, nice grapefruit pith that adds the perfect amount of bitterness. Mild juicy fruit bubblegum and tropical fruit juice. Then into musty dank resin, not too dank, little hop oil, little passion fruit too. A rich of sweet malt underneath smooths it and balances it very nicely so the bitter rind doesn't run off. Very smooth and tasty, bright fruit, delicious and drinkable. Long fair bitterness, fairly dry and crisp, long tropical fruit mango and orange lingering for a while, no real booze.

Mouth is med bodied, smooth and no noticeable booze, nice carb, little silky too, just a touch more carbonation would push that to 5.

Overall phenomenal! So delicious, extremely drinkable, and even with all the big hops it's nicely balanced. Maybe their best beer yet, but hard to compare to something like King Julius when I haven't had that in a long time.

Filled less than an hour ago and split with JLindros. This is basically Julius and Green combined....can't wait.

A - Poured into a Kate the Great tulip a nice super murky orange juice hue with a great super creamy two finger white head that fades to leave thick sticky lacing and a creamy sudsy blanket. Wow.

S - Aromas of a tropical fruit salad! Mango, guava , papaya, grapefruit, tangerine, clementime, oranges. Dank, wet hops hell with "balance"! Super light malt fluffiness to lightly compliment the hop assault.

T - Taste is super citrus orange, glorious mango, nice guava, tropical fruit explosion without any pineapple. Super juicy hops, nice and resinous and wet. Light bubblegum notes, take all those orange colored tropical fruits, out then into a juicer and you've got this beer. Zero alcohol in the taste.

M - Mouthfeel is wonderful. Sticky, juicy, light carbonation, yet somehow a crisp finish. Again, no alcohol noticeable at all!

O - Overall this beer is flat out incredible. So juicy and tropical! I wish it wasn't quite so murky but that lends to an almost glowing appearance. The nose and taste is impeccable and the mouthfeel is shocking. Can I have a keg of this please?
