Massive thanks to Brian for this can. A first for me. Cheers Brian!

Pint can dated 09/27/18 - poured into a Tree House pint (thanks for the glass too, Brian!) at about 44F.

Pours a very murky, opaque juice yellow, with a finger of slightly off-white head. A little bit of sticky lacing. Edit: massive walls of lace held up through the entire drinking experience.

Nose is hugely tropical - pineapple, mango, some guava, key lime, but the major star of the nose show is passionfruit. True-to-life ripe sweet passionfruit. Stellar nose. Some tart red berry character in there too. There's another big note of a fruit that I just cannot place. I know this fruit, and it smells wonderful.

Palate: Wow. Tree House calls this a pale ale. I call this a full-on IPA. I never had huge interest in this one, thinking it'd be lacking flavor. NOPE. This is a flavor beast. Seriously juicy citrus pulp and tropical fruit juice. There's a lot of hop expression going on here. Orange, lemonbalm, lime, pineapple, mango, starfruit - all with a plethora of bursting juice notes firing off in all directions. So delicious, I've already had half the pint. Not a whole lot of malt sweetness, but enough to really make those hop notes sing. Incredibly mild bitterness comes forth at the finish, drying this up nicely.

Mouthfeel. The only thing that separates this from an IPA is perhaps the feel. Thinner than your average creamy NEIPA, but still has great body. Super drinkable, mostly dry, low ABV. Above average carbonation does a good job in lifting the body even further, making this an absolutely drinkable brew. Crisp and refreshing.

Overall, this is the best American Pale Ale I've ever had. A month and a half does not seem to have done this can any harm at all. I can't imagine how much better it could get than this. What an insanely balanced offering. Little bit of malt, lotta bit of hops, little bit of bitter, lotta bit of flavor - character and drinkability. Fantastic.

The beer pours a hazy turbid yellow with a big fluffy white head. The carbonation is medium low that holds for a little while. It smells of biscuit, melon, mango, and pineapple. The beer tastes of biscuit, peach, pineapple, melon, and mango. The beer has a medium light mouthfeel. This is beer is more malt foward than other tree House beers, but is a very enjoyable offering.

16oz can: This one ours an opaque yellow color. There was a finger of a white head that leaves some lacing. Nice nose. Mainly grapefruit and melon. Some other citrus also. The taste is good. A decent malt body, with some bitterness. Some grapefruit and melon notes. Quite nice.
