Golden tangerine orange, hazy, pours with a medium white head, fades to a few wisps, leaves some lacing
Orange, tangerine, touches of ruby red grapefruit, hint of lime, moderate amount of herbal and green hops, floral hops, low bitterness, light tropical notes, mango, melon, pineapple, pale malts, just a touch of bready sweetness
On the light side of medium, smooth with some crispness, medium-low carbonation
East Hill is a nice break from some of the newest hoppy Tree House Beers I have had lately. This actually tastes like a pale ale. It's hoppy in all the right ways, and also extraordinarily drinkable.

Pours cloudy gold color with a 2 finger soapy off white head with great lacing. Aroma is fragrant with floral citrus notes. The taste is pleasantly smooth grapefruit tangerine up front that quickly shifts to increasingly tart lemon notes. The finish is moderately high bitterness with lingering lemon. The feel is lightly soft, not crisp though. These are very different flavors than the typical NEIPA. But I do kind of like it as a change.

Decanted from a 16 oz (473 ml) can into a Sam Adams Perfect Pint glass; canned 11/19/2020, code DREAMS WERE MADE HERE.
A: Pours a cloudy, very dark golden to light amber color with a one and a half finger, foamy, light yellow head, solid, half finger retention and complex rings of lacing.
S: Aromas of pineapple, peach, lychee, and lemon citrus with a subtle grassy overlay and caramel maltiness. Pineapple persists in the nose.
T: Rather dry (nicely so). Elements of palate follow nose fairly closely. Bitterness nicely balanced, but contributes to complexity and crisp finish.
M: Light to medium bodied. Solid carbonation and.
O: Gorgeously drinkable. Subtle and complex.

From a 16oz can with no date stamp. I’m estimating it’s between four and six weeks old. Served in a willi becher glass.
Pours a cloudy, translucent candy-orange colour with two-plus fingers of fluffy white head. Retention is excellent, leaving a puffed marshmallow of a cap sitting on top of the beer and a webbery of sticky lacing.
Nose is fruity and doughy. Orange slices, orange marmalade and white bread.
Taste surprises with a first impression of earthy, spicy-floral bitterness. Orange pith, bread fruit, gummies, underripe pineapple and bread roll.
Feel is smooth and clean, no more than medium bodied with ample carbonation.
Overall, a satisfying, clean and easy drinking pale ale. Unusually subtle and nicely balanced relative to Tree House’s usual interpretation of APA.
