Notes: Lucid was brewed back in April and allowed to mature with a blend of yeast and bacteria in stainless for two months before being packaged and tucked away in the barn for an additional two months of natural refermentation and conditioning in the bottle.

As the first Tree House bottle release, we are excited to share this beer with you! Tree House began as a mission to create refined, elegant beers to be enjoyed with friends and the people you love. To that end we have created Lucid, a farmhouse ale that exemplifies the spirit of continuous conscious experimentation here at Tree House. Fermented in stainless with our favorite mix of yeast and bacteria, Lucid presents you with aromas of Chardonnay, grapefruit, pear, and apricot. The flavor follows closely behind exhibiting Champagne-like flavors with an approachable lemony tartness. A natural re-fermentation in the bottle gives Lucid its soft and creamy effervescence. The first of many varied and distinct bottles in the Tree House journey. We hope it delights you!

3000th beer! In a bottle

Look: inviting - pale color, hazy, 1/4" of white foamy head

Smell: vineous, lemon, funk, grass, bread, wine

Tatse: citrus fruit, barnyard funk, white wine, subtle malt, slight rubber

Feel: balanced and crisp, leaving vinous wine citrus to linger

Overall: VERY pleasing w/ layers of flavors that are inviting with each sip. Treehouse hasn't made a bad beer to me yet! Try to get one of these. Cheers!

Bottle. Poured a cloudy yellow color with a fluffy, white head. Aroma is definitely tart and funky. Lacto-sour hints and sparkling cider and barny aromas. Flavor is brimming with tartness. White wine flavor with a funky, barny finish. Pale fruit flavors. Body is light and the carbonation leaves me thinking about a sparkling white wine. I was a fan of this beer. Tree House apparently can do it all.

Big thanks to JLindros for sharing.

A - Poured into a Kate the Great tulip a nice hazy golden hue with a thin quarter inch head that fades to leave a thin halo and wisps 3.5 (x .05 = .175)

S - Aromas of light funk, soft and subtle, nice wine notes, nice lemons and good lacto, barrel notes, light grain and malts. 4 (x .2 = .8)

T - Taste is similar to the nose, nice sharp tart lemon and lacto with good creaminess, the wine comes out well, really subtle. The light hay and honey with a little flemmy finish. 4 (x .45 = 1.8)

M - Mouthfeel is on the lighter side, very soft and a bit creamy thanks to the lactose. 3.75 (x .1 = .375)

O - Overall this beer wasn't bad and had all the characteristics of a solid barrel aged beer, however, it was just a bit too soft and subtle for my tastes 3.75 (x .2 = .75)

Light fizzy head fades pretty quickly, no lacing, hazy golden murky straw color. 3.5

Nose is a bit of a farmhouse funk nice saison funk and a nice Brett funk, lemony, grassy, lemongrass, grainy wheat like malts, floral, fairly soft, light bit nice. Background has a nice lactic souring bacteria, mild chardonnay floral wine and faint barrel notes. 4

Trade starts with honey, weird, that creamy lactic flavours with nice souring bacteria, into vinous notes, chardonnay floral like, with mild barrel notes. Then quickly into lemon, tart lemon and little lemongrass. Faint grainy malt, creamy wheat. Quite light overall for the nice flavours.finish sticky flemmy, lemon tartness and souring funk, light vinous note. 4

Mouth is med bod and creamy but tart lactic feel, hint acidity and bit flemmy, light carb. 3.5

Overall meh. It had some potential, and some nice characters but some flaws, and the great components were more muted.3.75

Lucid is Tree House's first bottled beer.

A-Pours a gorgeous hazy golden color. Very bubbly with about half a finger head.

S-Light fruits, light funkiness, Light tartness smell from the lemon/lime .

T-Definitively taste the Chardonnay, pale malts, nice floral hops, light sourness from the lime.

M- Amazing! sweetness from the grapes and tartness from the limes sugarcoating my mouth for a good minute. Funny that I get this flavors in the aftertaste more than in the sip instead. Really nice texture.

O- A very well made Saison by Tree House. Brew-master Nate keeps impressing.
