Notes / Commercial Description:
A new American Pale Ale brewed with buckets (literally) of Southern Hemisphere hops. Moment pours a gorgeous hazy yellow in the glass and gives off aromas of juicy fruit gum, pineapple, and passionfruit. The flavors follows suit with a big punch of young pineapple, grapefruit, and orange rind. We even get a bit of cantaloupe. A vibrant beer from the can, or poured into your favorite tulip… Subsist in the moment!

Thanks to Cam for gifting me this very fresh tallboy can, tried this the night before at a tasting as well. Notes from 4 days ago.

A - Pour to a pint glass hazy peach fuzz orange. Tall white head falls to a thick cap and retains as such the whole way through, great lacing as well. On the very-hazy side but pretty much perfect appearance if you ask me.

S - Earthy orange, grass, mango, dirty tropical citrus, a little bit of sugar cookie.

T - Loads of juicy tropical citrus with just a bit of piny dank grass and a nice biscuity sugar icing finish. Blood orange, mango.

M - Kind of biggish body but nice, decent hop bitterness but very smooth with great malt balance, well-carbonated, nice flavors for the ABV.

O - Pretty awesome pale, loads of smooth tropical grass backed by great fresh bread malt, low-key bitterness that still packs a good punch for 5.4%, it's a hoppy Tree House beer, you know the drill.

16 oz. can dated 7/27/18. Poured into Belgian ale glass.

L: About 2F fluffy white head with lots of lacing and a cap and ring. Beer is a hazy bright golden orange.

S: Sticky melon, pineapple, and other tropical fruits along with some grapefruit.

T: Follows nose, largely. Grassy and sticky, but not very dank melon and tropical fruit. Pretty neutral finish.

F: Light to medium bodied, light to medium carbonation. Construction and balance are very good. Finish is long and grassy rather than crisp. Still quite drinkable due to low ABV.

O: Solid APA with a lot of fruity taste.

Looks like a classic NE juice bomb. Smell promises more of the same with plenty of tropical fruit. Taste is a little more neutral and is a bit wanting.

Beer looks incredible. Hazy, milky yellow in color with half inch head. Taste is pineapple,, orange, and a touch of grapefruit rind. Light bodied, slightly bitter, low carbonation. Reminds me of Green light. Super juicy and flavorful. Wonderful beer.

My wife is Yogini so this pint can was a must. "How many people are you?" is the focus question on the bottom of the can. 6/28 opened on 7/6/18.

You can count on Treehouse to always deliver the haziest, most opaque and milky looking orange and gold colored liquid. Heavy, dense, rich and healthy appearance. The "head" the thick and creamy, smooth vanilla and sea foam style whipped cap is amazing. Sticks around, bold and full throughout the durationbof the session. Major lacing, sticky foam left overs everywhere.

Vanilla-sweet, tropical fruit punch with a creamy topping style aroma is huge. The hoppy aromatics from Treehouse are always intense and wet-fresh style. Greshly picked and crushed hops, sweet fruits and melons, whipped cream and spices round it out. Seriously complex and bold aroma's popping off here.

The first impression of the texture, feel and flavor is....: Fresh, golden wheat and hay from the light, but sickly complex malty side coupled with some of the freshest, wetest most lush earthy hop flavor I can remember. A smoooth, sliky and lush texture and mouthfeel, the malt's appearance is light and vibrant but it's effect is more like a thick, milky cream ale. The malty flavor is a wheat, hay and hetbal bite with a huge, creamy, vanilla like sweetness and fluff effect. WTF??!! Them hops, fresh, and intense with bold aroma's and flavors bring in light mango, starfruit, spices and dense notes of pineapple. Complexity is off the charts.

So, I really like a crispy-based malty kick to my IPA's, Present Moment is all about a round, smooth, almost cask style feel and effect. It's smootu texture is pretty awesome, but I do miss a crispy, lighter bite to balance out the hops..or challenge the hops. The silky, opaque and thick liquid is a Treehouse signature, no one seems to do it better.

Had a hard time getting into this one. My least favorite of the TH pale ales. Subtle notes of peach/apricot but they weren't very prominent. Almost tasted watered down.
