Notes:
The third installment of our small batch pale ale series brings some tropical vibes admist the heart of our winter season. Echelon Three features Nelson Sauvin, Mosaic, and a touch of Galaxy hops. She pours a yellow orange color in the glass, and burst with pungent tropical aromas. Her taste follows suit with flavors of oranges, pineapple and white grape. She's pillowy soft, and finishes as delicate as can be...just how we like our pale ales.

L - Hazy orange with two fingers of white head. Typical.
S - Intriguing mix of grapefruit peel, lemon zest, and fresh mint
T - Dry white wine, white grape, mint, fresh hop dankness, doughy malt
F - light-to-medium, refreshing at times, but also dry, lingering lemon zest
O - Different than a lot of Tree House juice nukes, but still solid and refreshing all around despite periods of dryness. Nice complexity for a pale ale.

From a TH 750 ml into tulip glass. 2/12/16
L. Dark sunset orange with a lighter head than expected. Less than a finger with sticky lacing.
S. Some nice citrus and tropical fruit funk. Nelson hops really shine.
T. A great mix of grapefruit and bitter and light mango and tropical. A nice bitter finish that does not linger.
F. Medium mouthfeel with above average carbonation.

Very strong citrus taste - mostly grapefruit. But it has a crisp, slightly bitter finish. The color is a light orange which is appealing. It is full of flavor for a pale ale.

Awesome color of yellowish orange, almost mimicking the look of a cider. Juicy flavors of pineapple and other tropical fruits. As usual, another great beer from TH.

Great showcase for what might be my three favorite hop varieties: Nelson Sauvin, Mosaic, and Galaxy. Light tropical fruit flavor in the front accentuated by pineapple that segues into dank mosaic. Mouthfeel is thinner than what I've come to expect from Treehouse, but makes the beer immensely quaffable. I think I might have preferred Echelon One to this small batch, but it was nonetheless delicious. Business as usual for Tree House.
