From a 25oz bottle dated 2016 into a pint glass.
Pours pitch black with about two and half fingers of light brown head that forms very slowly as the pour progresses. Great head retention, average lacing.
Smells of coffee, unsweetened chocolate and some dark fruits (cherries, raspberries?).
Tastes of sweet coffee, some bitter dark chocolate with above mentioned fruits in the background. Alcohol not noticeable at 8.7 abv.
Mouthfeel is smooth and creamy. Nice bitter aftertaste. No noticeable carbonation.
Overall, the bottle says "Do Not Age" but this tastes excellent. Would love to have a fresh to compare.

Another very solid version of double shot by a tree house… Like the deep coffee notes on this one but I don't feel like most of the variance that they make are that different from each other with the exception of triple shot.
