Notes: SSSappp is a new rendition of Sap designed to push the original flavor profile to a heightened level of depth and intensity through the use of additional kettle and dry hops! Don’t let the name fool you - this beer is loaded with notes of rich red grapefruit, apricot, and earthy citrus. A supple mouthfeel and full body help lend balance to the pleasant and complex onslaught of flavors. It just feels right.

A: Pale gold with splashes of orange. Hazy, but not in the opaque beermilk vein of its NEIPA brethren. Fluffy head bordering on the composition of cappuccino foam--just off-white in color, dissipating without ever quite disappearing.

S: Lemon sorbet and apricot marmalade. Lotsa mango--more of the sweet yellow variety vs. the underripe green type that is featured in OG Sap. Bubblegum and pizza dough malt.

T: Sweet grapefruit flesh without the rind. Strong doughy malt presence--so light it borders on vanilla cake. Light pineapple, maybe hints of cantaloupe and orange. Finishes with a punch of stone fruit, more apricot than peach, not quite ripe. Piney undertones throughout manifest more prominently on aftertaste.

M: Wonderfully full and well carbonated. Mouth coating in that signature Tree House fashion. Rounded in its bitterness, restrained in its sweetness. Sticky with a touch of a cooling menthol sensation (perhaps illusory from the pine flavor).

O: An amplified version of Sap that, to me, showcases the depth of the hop profile more than the base. This is intensely aromatic and flavorful, with an intensity that punches way above its ABV despite retaining the balance and effortless drinkability of Sap.

Underrated beer. Bright yellow with good bit of lacy foam upon poor. Pine, sap, citrus aroma. The 'west coast' flavors are balanced perfectly with citrus juiciness. Neither one overwhelms the other, but the pine and sap becomes more pronounced as the beer warms slightly. Good amount of carbonation. Only 'knock' and it's not even a knock is that it is 'medium' mouthfeel (along the lines of In Perpetuity) and not quite some of Tree House's very best beers.

Overall, I will say it again: underrated.

Canned 11/24 Medium yellowish orange in color, modest head that faded quickly leaving sparse lacing but a lice layer of suds on the surface. Nose is sweet lemon, cut grass, a bit of leather. Taste is similar but the earthy/grassiness is more prevalent. Dry finish but still smooth.

Can dated 11/15/19 from connecticutpoet poured into Crane snifter.

Deep honey gold with a tall fluffy head of 3 fingers receding to 1, leaving patchy lace on the glass.

Aromas are of mango juice and orange peel, with faint pine cone, slight baby powder, and a really distant stab of fresh mint.

The flavor begins with orange rind and general citrus flavors (they all kind of meld together). Some mango, tea, light must/earth, lemon zest, and grapefruit wrap things up.

The feel is over-carbonated, which I've never had in any TH beer thus far when "ripening" them to my ideal 5 month time spot (they just taste better and the harsh green-ness goes away). This one was quite a foamer in the glass and got in the way of the flavor profile, bringing harsh, biting stabs to the tongue. Not really much in the way of lingering resins or alcohol heat, has a mild to moderate creaminess. Medium bodied.

Overall, a pretty basic TH IPA, it's pretty good but not near as good as some of the other offerings. This one is quite a bit better than Sap, in my opinion.

the appearance on TH IPAs is so dilaed, thhey all have this glowing hazed color with a dense and creamy bright white head with soapy bubbles atop that stick around and decorate the glass.

beautiful looking brew. peach, pineapple, tangerine, grapefruit, soft doughy malts, herbal and mellow pine on the finish. this one is very delicate and balanced, incredibly well done and immensely drinkable. great offering!

Just more Tree House magic! It's divine! It would be a PERFECT New England IPA but I'm going to say it's just a tad bit too sweet. But I'm picking nits - it's incredible. Get some!

Hazy, pale orange with a finger head. Dank yeast and grape aromas and hints of sweet vermouth. Flavors of sweet citrus fruit, pine, and white grapes. Light carbonation with a light to medium body feel.
