This Tree House imperial IPA was brewed to celebrate the Autumn season and the accompanying Halloween holiday! By utilizing enormous kettle and dry-hop additions, we are able to coax clean and vibrant flavors of orange, lychee, mango, and grapefruit from a base of simple ingredients. The nose is pungent, and we like to describe it as a tropical fruit hop bag. This beer is brewed to have a candy-like orange sweetness to balance the intense hop onslaught. It is intensely flavored but never overbearing, just the way we like a double IPA. It’s not a trick, but a Treat to enjoy on the most spooky of days!

Cloudy light orange with two fat fingers of yellowed head. Great retention and thick lacing.
Underripe pineapple dominates the nose with hints of papaya, honeydew and guava underneath.
The taste also has that strong underripe tropical fruit and melon vibe which teeters between sweet and not-at-all-sweet because of that greeness to it which imparts a certain level of bitterness.
Full, almost chewy feel with very tight fizz.
Normally underripe fruit qualities don’t do it for me in an IPA, but the fruit medley in this is quite strong, distinct and enjoyable. Recommended.
