Notes:
Fleeting Moment is an imperial milk stout brewed with coffee, chocolate, maple syrup, Ceylon cinnamon, and Vietnamese cinnamon. It is carefully concocted to emulate the flavor of a big pile of freshly made French toast drizzled in maple syrup. We utilize all natural ingredients during every phase of the brewing process to create a thick, decadent beer that tastes of dark amber maple syrup, freshly ground cinnamon, coffee, and swiss dark chocolate. This is a breakfast beer through and through and one that is best savored in a snifter over a hearty Sunday morning meal. Fleeting Moment allows us to reflect upon the seemingly ordinary moments in life that come and go in a flash, and may often be taken for granted -- like the simplicity of breakfast with friends or family.

Poured from a 16 oz can into a Dogfish Head tulip
L: Inky black pour with 2 fingers of foamy mocha colored head.
S: Sweet and roasty. Cinnamon, coffee, cocoa, and spice.
T.F: Just like it smells. Sweet cocoa and vanilla mixed with roasted grains, maple syrup, and espresso. The cinnamon is subtle but present... and adds a nice spice. Very modest roast bitterness for balance. Velvety and smooth.... creamy mouthfeel. ABV hidden but sneaks up on you. More sweet cocoa and espresso to finish.
O: An outstanding milk stout. Easy drinking... loads going on... and a perfect mid-winter beer.

Pours not and black. Like syrup.
Smell is cinnamon and maple and maybe a touch of chocolate.
Taste is cinnamon up front and maple on the back.
It’s quite drinkable and becomes sweeter with maple as it warms. I split the cab as 16oz would be too much.

S: Roasted malt, cinnamon, vanilla, maple syrup, coffee, dark chocolate, and caramel
T: Follows the nose. Starts off with the roasted malt, cinnamon, dark chocolate, and maple syrup. Picks up the coffee, vanilla, and caramel. Finishes with lingering roast, coffee, and dark chocolate
M: Medium-full bodied with low-moderate carbonation
O: A very good milk stout that does an amazing job bringing all the elements together to makes a great sipper. Nothing gets too high or low. Definitely worth checking out

Pours jet black. Aroma is roasty coffee & caramel, milk chocolate & hint of vanilla. Wonderful taste as it smells - roast coffee with sweetness of chocolate, caramel & vanilla. Full bodied mouthfeel. Incredible stout.

Top shelf stout! Smooth, rich but not cloying, more sweet than smoky, with very mild coffee flavor but additional bits of spiciness in the mix, especially in the finish. Not the absolute best stout I've had, but excellent overall flavor. Enjoyed from the can on a cold sunny day outside, and it hit the spot!

Pours dark brown with a soft, lacy head. Fragrant with maple syrup front and center with hints of cocoa and coffee.
Rich and velvety with a mellow, roasted flavor. Lots of complexity. Lots of flavor. Some sweetness upfront but more lingering bitterness than many milk stouts. Leaves you wanting more. The alcohol is a bit concealed with the roasted, malty flavors. Finishes dry with with a touch of spice. Wonderful to enjoy by the fire or on a cold, sunny day.

Pours a thick syrupy black color with some tan head and small rings of lingering lacing that lasted. Smells of dark chocolate fudge, dark roast coffee, vanilla, caramel, cinnamon, maple syrup, malt, a little Vietnamese coffee spice. Tastes similarly, great balance, reminded me of a Vietnamese mocha coffee drink or dessert. High ABV was so well hidden. Smooth, luscious, sticky, coated the palate, just the right amount of carbonation. A great sweet stout with unique flavors!

Pours a thick and fairly viscous midnight black, semi aggressive pour yields a nice mocha head with good retention. Has a bit of a yeasty aroma with some chocolate and maple syrup as it warms. Flavor is not as sweet as I expected, which is good. Ample bittersweet chocolate mixes with light coffee and mild maple syrup. Kudos for the cinnamon addition - just a touch so it is barely noticeable, yet apparent. Chewy mouthfeel and nice, light carbonation produce a fairly full bodied beer. Overall a very enjoyable desert stout.

500ml bottle, undated, poured into a Half Acre "occult" tulip glass. Enjoyed on 07.07.19, reviewed from Tasting Journal.
The beer pours a deep jet black color, thick, oily and inky with a khaki head that doesn't have much height or retention but yields lots of sticky lacing. The aroma is action packed full of adjuncts, nice coffee roast, dark bitter chocolate, modest vanilla marshmallow, soft cinnamon, rich maple and hearty grains. The flavors are right in line with the nose, super chocolate with a nice sweet and rich maple character, strong roasted coffee helps offer a touch of balance, vanilla marshmallow while the hearty rich grains are complemented by lingering cinnamon that dries the beer out a bit. The mouthfeel is good, coating with a thick medium body that is creamy and has a dry finish.
Verdict: A good adjunct forward stout from Tree House. The cinnamon makes this a little dry but all the adjuncts are well expressed and work in harmony.
