Notes: Stardust is an Imperial Milk Stout brewed with dark chocolate, white chocolate, coffee, and macadamia nuts! It pours pitch black in the glass with a dense, fluffy head, and emits aromas of sweet white chocolate, earthy nuttiness, and high quality coffee. The flavor follows suit, and on the whole, is reminiscent of a chocolate chunk macadamia nut cookie! The flavors are subtle and well integrated; allowing Stardust to warm will reveal its depth of character and flavor. Stardust truly unique, appealing, and intriguing entry into our Milk Stout line-up!

Thick, sweet, strong, great to split. A dessert beer for sure. Honestly they all kind of blend in.

500ml bottle, Tree House snifter glass. Pours a dark black body, oily brown with a one finger mocha head, not much retention or lacing. Smell is chocolate fudge, a bit of white chocolate sweetness in addition to a mild coffee roast. There is a fair bit of nuttiness on the nose, but it comes out in spades on the palate. Massive nuttiness which is fairly sweet- it is presumably the mac nuts at hand, but it has a pretty big chocolate fudge and white chocolate sweetness to it. Now that I think about it, maybe there is a touch of lactose there also. Medium bodied, good carbonation, might be a touch thinner than you'd expect based on the palate, but that may be the coffee there.

L - hm, this label seems familiar... head is exceptionally dark and burnt for TH stout fare. Paint brown with reddish hues.

S - bittersweet dark chocolate cream, light roast coffee with mild citrus, and macadamia cookies. Hints of burnt popcorn and an overall sweet, zesty cocoa nuttiness.

T - keeping it going with the burnt popcorn. This is much darker and heavier than the nose suggests, almost dirty in how the big chocolate flavors and spackled about. Not in a bad way, but they're very in your face and uncompromising. Dark German chocolate cake, crumbly brownies, and rich, cocoa powder-laden coffee. Molasses, barley, and nougaty toasted caramel. Finishes with a kiss of booze heat in the best way possible. A little sticky, a little roasty, but overall quite pleasant. Citrus dryness on the verrrry end.

F - smooth, creamy, but with some restrained bite. Has just enough pep to stave off the sweetness.

O - deceptively sweet. Not sugary, but big and boisterous... robust is a good descriptor. The ABV suits this beer nicely.

Traded for this last week, along with a lot of other recent bottle releases from Tree House. This wasn't as good as those although it was probably because there was just a bit too much macadamia in it without enough chocolate and and coffee to balance things out. It was a nice beer that like the others, had the alcohol recessed but didn't blow me away in any aspect.

Of course, this beer poured dark with plenty of tan, luscious head to top it off. Plenty of soapy rings were left behind as I sipped this, with most of them being seen along the bottom half of my pint glass. Tons of macadamia nuttiness in the nose with some walnuts and coffee underneath that. Only a hint of chocolate, cake, and brownie underneath as they were felt more in the mouthfeel than in the taste. A bit of roasted malt came through as this warmed up as the chalky and powdery taste was not as smooth and rich as I would have liked. Chocolatey sweetness kicked in at the end as this felt like a cake that someone would bake for the autumnal season, which didn't quite fit in during this spring!

Plenty of booze here but the warmth from it would be the only giveaway as this went down somewhat smoothly and easily given the amount of heft it had. This wasn't bad as much as it wasn't my cup of tea. Worth a go once if you love Stouts, beers with nut flavors, or anything from Tree House but after having the Double Shot bottles, this didn't quite measure up to those in the end...

Pours opaque, dark brown in color with 1/4 inch head. Taste is coffee, cream, vanilla, white chocolate, and light macadamia nut. Heavy bodied, sweet and roasty, low carbonation. In the better half of the imperial stouts they have released lately. I like the white chocolate. Want the macadamia to come out more. Not as good as Candy Shop but still very good.

Just kind of meh. They've made much better adjunct milk stouts.
