For this curious exploration into the art and science of hoppy beers, we utilized all Citra hops paired with our singular house yeast. It is buoyed by a simple grist of pale malt and a huge addition of oats in the grist. This is a contrast to Curiosity Sixty Five, starkly displaying the differences of these two highly coveted hop varieties when paired with our house yeast. We taste and smell fruit punch, potent citrus, and ripe guava bolstered by a strong base of oat character. This is a wonderful, potent beer that is sure to satisfy your citrusy hop cravin’ needs!

Thanks to rudzud, canned unreadable canning date, likely 5/15
Creamy rich head fair retention, light lacing, opaque blond orange yellow color
Nose is ok, orange juice and citrus zest, little mineral, doughy wheat, pithy, no mango at all, not much else
Taste is a little better, juicy citrus, orange juice and a hint of mango, light creamy malt, no wheat but little bread and big raw unappealing oatmeal, very simple and bland, light bitterness, medium dry finish, hops get a little spicy bitter
Mouth is med bod, a bit creamy, light carb too, at least not much alcohol
Overall another let down, hops were not as complex as they should have been, and the base malt was boring and that unappealing raw oatmeal

Curiosity Sixty Seven pours a bright, pulpy and hazy yellow with a slight golden hue and a small head, white in color. The smell is juicy citrus, candied orange, tangerine and a hint of mango and sweet melon with a bold hop aroma. Taste is excellent! Has a soft and creamy mouthfeel over the palette. Juicy citrus up front with some grapefruit and sweet melon and a light linger bitterness.
