Notes: Super Treat is a riff on Treat utilizing even larger kettle and dry hop additions applied to a richer, denser base beer than Treat. It is intended to coax sweet hop candy flavors from a blend of citrus forward American hops paired with our house yeast. Saturated flavors of orange starburst, sweet tangerine, lychee, and unfiltered fresh squeezed orange juice play nicely with a gently carbonated body lending to a beer that is intensely enjoyable and eminently drinkable. Our house yeast provides juicy fruit gum and melon overtones throughout. It’s a Super Treat, indeed!

Canned on 6/4. Poured to Glass on 6/6.
A: Looks like a Peach Juice. Thin clouds and disappeared quickly.
S: Tangelin, peach, pineapple in front.
T: First sip remained Fluffy, light creaminess. Then Mango, pineapple and full of tropical fruits notes. Hop bitterness is quite sure but not to much strong. Balance is enjoyable.
O: Quite unique balanced IIPA. A little bit too sticky and sweet for me.

From a 16oz can, dated 06/04/19. Served a cervoise.

Pours a milkily opaque orange-gold with two fingers of soft, fluffy suds. Retention is very good leaving a foamy cap and a silky curtain of lacing which forms thick, sticky rings as it drinks down.

Aroma is softy sweet and cake-like. Pineapple-orange juice and vanilla.

Taste is decidedly sweet with zero bitterness. Orange-vanilla birthday cake with lemon pastry cream filling, pineapple hard candies and marijuana. Sweet and juicy, dank and weedy.

Feel is somewhere beyond juicy into being dense and doughy. Medium-thick bodied but with ample, fine carbonation keeping it light and bright. A very slight comfortable warmth in the gullet.

Overall, another utterly ridiculous over-the-top NEDIPA from Tree House. Somehow gives the impression of being sweeter than it actually is but I’m still concerned about tooth decay.
