Notes:
We are super excited to share this singular, milestone-marking beer with you! Seven is a Tree House Double IPA brewed in celebration of our seventh anniversary. It utilizes heavy hot side and cold side doses of Warrior, Citra, Galaxy, and Amarillo hops with an oat and dextrin malt heavy base beer to create a thick Double IPA with insane notes of pineapple, passionfruit, orange creamsicle, melon soda, and pink bubblicious. It has a rich mouthfeel and tight carbonation that is both gentle and pleasing to feel on the tongue. This beer is a cornucopia of fruity hop flavor the likes of which we have never brewed before. Thank you for your continued support, and for giving us the opportunity to continue pursuing our passion.

Poured from a 16 oz can into a teku glass.
Pours a hazy gold color with a finger of effervescent white head. The head has excellent retention, hanging around for days before settling into a thin sheet. Leaves a nice ring of lacing as it dissipates.
The aroma brings mild notes of pineapple, peach, and grapefruit, as well as some orange rind and lime zest. Plenty of crackery malt present.
The flavor is more of the same: Pineapples, peach rings, oranges and grapefruit. Some lime zest. Very malty and dry on the finish.
The feel is absolutely the best part of this beer: Medium bodied with moderate carbonation. Very smooth and creamy with a modestly dry finish. The alcohol is practically non-existent.
Overall, a pretty good albeit pretty disappointing DIPA. I definitely expected more from an Anniversary beer from Tree House. Still, despite the high ABV it's quite drinkable and has plenty of flavor. A bit on the sweet side but never cloying.

Seventh anniversary beer for TH. It pours a beautiful opaque white grapefruit juice color with a silky one finger head. The aroma is pungent with fragrant tangerine and stone fruit notes. The taste is semi-sweet with tangerine pith, apricot and maybe some faint lemon notes, so not a tropical flavor at all. Feel is soft with a moderate to high effervescence and a light to moderate bitterness in the finish. This is a great, more ephemeral take on their typical tropical flavors and instead does a more dry flavor that is clean and crisp. Really love it and grateful to get one - all they had left was a variety case with one can in it. Well worth it!!

Pours ultra hazy, gold in color with one inch head. Taste is pineapple, lychee, tangerine, and alcohol burn. Heavy bodied and thick, moderate carbonation, sweet. Tastes like a heavier, sweeter, and more alcohol burn version of Green. Good DIPA. Other Tree House beers I prefer, but fits in with their style. Better than the last few Curiosities I have had.

Thanks to rudzud
Big creamy fluffy head, good lacing and retention, cloudy hazy orange color
Nose sweet doughy malts, big melon, citrus, little tropical, big tangerine and orange notes, little mango
Taste mild sweet doughy malt and pithy, big citrus, little pithy and light chalky, light mango papaya, some melon as well, medium bitterness with pithy rind and a little chalky, dry spicy bitter hop finish
Mouth is medium bodied, bright foamy carb but spicy gritty carb
Overall pretty good, not quite tree house level, too pithy and pulpy spicy hop, but that great.

TREE HOUSE SEVEN DIPA 6/10/19
Anniversary brew from the leading NEIPA maker. Bought at the brewery yesterday. Canned 6/6/19.
a: Opaque yellow with an inch thick white head which receded to a thick ring of surface foam and fairly dense lacing.
s; Intense citrus
t; Follows the nose leaning to grapefruit, bitterness lingers slightly on the dry finish.
m: Nearly full, great body and some carbonation tingle.
o: Another quintessential NEIPA from TH, with even more citrus than ever dominating the flavor. Not sure why this is being rated so low on BA (comparatively speaking to other TH NEIPAs and to other rate-and-review sites like Untapped, where I understand the average for Seven is over 4.4 rather than under 4.2), this one seems well balanced considering the huge hop presence. A fitting celebratory brew for seven years of incredible and unmatched brewing success. However, perhaps the output was uneven, something of the sort could be why my experience with this brew was so different and way better than the few relative horror stories below.

A - Poured into a Kate the Great tulip a nice hazy golden orange hue with a thin white head that fades to leave a thin wispy head and lacing.
S - Aromas of candied orange peel, flashes of malts. Little bit of generic tropical fruits.
T - Taste is similar to the nose with loads of bitter hops, flashes of tropical peel, loads of bitter pithy citrus peel. Some flashes of alcohol along with loads of juicy oranges.
M - Mouthfeel is lightly carbonated, creamy, alcohol hidden nicely.
O - Overall this was a very solid dipa with loads of bitter citrus. Tons of tropical fruit as well, quite nice.

Metallic taste on the back end for me, way too hot. Didn’t seem like it blended well together. More hops and sugar to hide our brewing techniques. TH used to be the shit but they fucking suck now. Everything is way too sweet.

A- Pours a chalky pale yellow from the can into a tulip glass. The cap rises fast to about an inch high with a thick and foamy texture and good retention. A small ring at the edges deposits large sheets of lacing.
S- Creamsicle oranges with a hint of berries and tropical fruits. Almost like melted popsicles suggesting a bit of sweetness along with hints of lemon, lime, underripe stone fruit, grapefruit and melon.
T- Much like the aroma but it shifts a bit towards bitter pithy citrus with the berries becoming stronger and keeping that creamsicle/popsicle vibe. Strawberries, tangerine, apricot, bitter orange, green hops and just a barrage of bitter citrus oils. Powdery and acrid in the end.
MF- Medium bodied brew with a puffy and silky smooth consistency. Moderately high level of carbonation and a bit warm from the ABV. Ends with a strong bitterness.
Berries, citrus pith and green hops on the palate in another powdery brew. Why do we need these overly murky brews when we had such an amazing thing going just a few years ago; so powdery and in the end it just comes off like chalk and stone fruit.
