Perfect Storm is an absurdly hopped rendition of Super Typhoon; the most kingly and intense of our weather series! Featuring boatloads of Simcoe & Citra hops, perfect storm pours a glowing orange in the glass and carries flavors and aromas of earthy citrus, cantaloupe, papaya, and strawberry banana. Perfect Storm’s hop leanings are more intense and resinous, with tongue coating fruity hop oils and a firm, lingering bitterness. This one will evolve beautifully in the can with time and reveal layers of additional complexity through cold conditioning. Enjoy!

2 months old. Can to wine glass.
L: Pours a full and hazy yellow with a fluffy white head that leaves plenty of lacing. No floaters.
S: Ripe citrus fruits, fresh pineapple, papaya and lemon grass. Hoppy and fruity.
T: Grapefruit, lemon and lime paired with fresh tropical fruits, especially papaya and mango. Sweet and fruity on the one side. Grassy, woody and smoky on the other side.
F: Soft, smooth and quite full. Medium low carbonation. Very drinkable.
O: Wow, what a great beer this is. Perfectly balanced, yet highly complex. Very aromatic and flavorful. Looks nice, feels great. Outstanding IPA.

Pours about like they all do. Lovely pale gold haze with fluffy cream head that hangs out throughout. Stone fruit, citrus, light pineyness to the point it feels weird to describe it that way. Flavor follows. Big, soft, fruity. There is a small bite to it, but overall apricot and tangerine. Soft is par for the course (which will soon be a lame pun once TH opens their golf course). A very enjoyable, very tasty IIPA. Soft, round, well-layered fruity hop character.
